After trying unsuccessfully with several other roofers (who either didn't call back, wouldn't show up to work, lied to us, wasted our time, made things worse, or all of the above), I finally found Richards and Swift Roofing and talked with Alex about our house in Royal Oak. Even though it wasn't a whole new roofing job, he was immediately working to fix the problem, even calling our insurance adjuster to help us. Alex not only returned calls right away and answered all my questions, but also promptly got his crew out to our house to fix our roof. They were quick, thorough, and professional and didn't charge a penny more than the original quote (even though there were a couple of extra unexpected details needed). Working with Alex at R&S was exactly what we needed, and I wish I had known about them earlier, as it would have saved us a TON of grief. Thanks, Alex!"

"Repaired/replaced garage roof, damaged from falling tree. From the estimate to the completion, everything was done as promised. All matters with our insurance company were handled quickly and professionally. The workers were very professional and yet friendly. They kept us informed with every thing that was done. "Brett came over quickly for an estimate and they began work in a few days. The team was very nice and worked hard to complete this project in 3 days. All old siding was removed along with the gutters. Rotten boards had to be replaced and the front porch overhang had to be rebuild from years of water collecting under the siding. The entire garage and house got new siding and trim was done along all windows and doors. Brett suggested putting on a shingle looking siding on the peak of the houe and garage in a slightly lighter color for some contrast and it was worth every penny! Cleanup was good and the whole experience was very nice. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for gutters, siding or roofing.

He could have charged me for a roof repair but he said my roof needed no repairs, so I trust that when I do need a new roof his company will give me a fair price and will do excellent work. Mr. Cherry, the owner, could have milked me because my insurance company inspected the roof and required that I get a roofer to do repairs, but Mr. Cherry was honest and said none were needed. I will not forget his honesty."

"The job went well.  Once into the tuck pointing part of the job, it was obvious that a lot of mortar behind the outside brick had eroded away.  Michael did a great job making sure the job was done correctly.  As for the roof, the fixes he did, addressed the problem of leaking at the flashing.

"Met with Chad at my home, he was awesome and very professional! Chad was very detailed about all the steps it would take to replace my roof, I honestly felt at ease with him. I was not pressured in any way to go with their company, He assured me if there were any concerns they would quickly resolved those issues and they did. He was very patient, If I had any questions no matter how many he would answer them. I then met my project manager Brian he was awesome as well! If there were any questions or concerns he would answere them with no problem, if there was any problems he would have them resolved quickly. I loved the fact they are really sincere, after signing the contract some companies tend to ignore you and your concerns not Extreme Exteriors they were very professional and stuck to their word. Thank you guys for that! Extreme Exteriors sent their best team to install the roof [ who were awesome!] for my home and garage and my beautiful roof was done in a day. Able to do foam insulation at a slower psi so I didn't have to evacuate my home. Eric and Mike even helped move some furniture back for me. Great experience."

"We chose SureGuard even though we had better quotes from other companies because we were sold on promise that work would be completed by their crews and supervised by their foreman daily. We loved the idea of hiring a local business that uses their own crews. It was obvious once work began that SureGuard was subcontracting work to other companies, and they did not send their foreman with these crews. The paint crew arrived and didn’t seem to have a complete picture of the work to be performed. They were difficult to communicate with and we had questions about the quality of their workmanship. I ended up having to place calls with their office to address my concern. To SureGuards credit, they did send out someone the following morning and my concerns were addressed. The work did turn out ok in the end, however the process was stressful. Had we known they were going to sub out the work we would have gone with the other bids. I would consider them for roofing, which appears to be their core business."
