"A little difficulty in getting a hold of them.  Some phone tag back and forth, a couple days turn around time to respond to emails, but they did always respond and get back to us.  The estimate was very professional and knowledgeable.  We could have chosen to do a patch to fix the crack which went all the way from the top to the bottom and had been causing leaks, but instead decided to pay a little more to replace a handful of bricks with the patch.  Their workers were very friendly and helpful.  They were realistic and gave us a good idea of what to expect.  You can barely tell which bricks were replaced and were the crack was.  They did a nice job. <br />"

"We called the company and were given an appointment for the very next day. We had planned to install one large chimney cap to cover 4 chimney flues on top of our large chimney. We were given the pros and cons of one large cap vs four separate caps along with price estimates. We were advised to go with 4 caps to protect the integrity of our brick chimney. The 4 stainless steel caps were installed that same day. We hadn't planned on getting advice on installing a fireplace insert but, it turned out that the company also sells inserts so we had the fireplace measured and were given good advice on installing an insert. "Very well. Steve showed up on time, while the regular home inspection was taking place. Steve inspected 3 chimney flues (2 fireplaces plus the furnace exhaust flue), and the outside of the chimney above the roofline. The inspection turned up several serious defects that might have cost me $15,000 to repair. Chimney Doctors provided me with a detailed report, including photos of the defects, and estimates to repair them, which I was able to use in negotiating with the sellers."

"Can't say enough good things about them. Although it took a while for our stove to arrive, the installation went off seamlessly. As the installers told me upfront, they only had one chance to drill a hole at the correction height and location through our 1903 foursquare's plaster walls and chimney wall to connect it to the new flue liner. They took their time carefully measuring and locating the flue, then bore the hole. They nailed it. The stove and pipe are both perfectly level and plumb has drawn all kinds of admiring remarks. The stove works like a dream with an updraft like I've never seen. The installers cleaned up afterwards and came back right away to fix a small problem with one of the door gaskets."
