"Our project was actually a crawlspace encapsulation. We have a lake cabin that was built in the 1960's. It had a dirt floor in the crawlspace with bare block masonry foundation walls. It also had old, damp batt insulation that was falling down from the joist spaces. American Waterworks came in, removed the old insulation (a nasty job!), laid down a 2 layer moisture barrier system and spray foamed the foundation walls and rim joist area. I can't believe what a difference this has made to our air quality, much warmer floors. We used to have to wipe down the windows every morning during the winter because of condensation. Not any more! I would highly recommend this company if you have the same needs!!"

"The work was done very well. The original estimate was developed based on the assurance that drain tile was in place inside the foundation (provided by me). After determining there was no drain tile inside the foundation, we were offered options for proceeding, chose one, and they were back the next day to finish the job. "He examined the area and told us that he didn't think it would be necessary to do extensive work on the foundation; the wet area was small and next to the drain and didn't seem to be spreading.  He recommended extending the gutter downspouts so they would drain farther from the house, and adding more soil and grading it to slope away from the house.  We followed his suggestions and also planted some hostas which have an extensive root system and absorb a lot of water.  Since doing those things the wet spot has dried up and we've had no further problems. <br /> We were impressed that he didn't encourage us to do any expensive repair work (which would've meant more business for him) - but which would have been unnecessary. <br />"
