"Kal’s Plumbing was great and I would definitely hire them again. First, after finding them here on a Angie’s List, they were the fastest plumber to respond to my request for quote. Unlike others, they were willing to quote online based on the description I provided and then used photos to confirm it. They were punctual and did a great job within the time they said they needed. The old water heater was a tight squeeze to remove but they handled it without an issue. The best part was the service after the installation. The first time the water softener regenerated, the floor drain backed up, likely because it had been dry for too long since I disconnected the old one a few months ago. They came out ON A HOLIDAY and took care of it for no charge, even refusing a tip! When the units were inspected by the city, the water softener didn’t have a bonding jumper. Kal’s once again came out and took care of it (literally a 5 minute job) for no charge. Excellent communication, excellent service, and a fair price will make Kal’s my go-to plumber for all my future needs. The fact they’re a local family run business is an added bonus."

"Trenk is amazing at problem solving and is especially adept at doing so in old old housing where nothing was done the way it would be in new plumbing. We called him to say the sewer rooter guy found breaks in the pipes and that we couldn't use any drains until it got fixed because the sewer water would back up. We gave him a copy of the camera pictures/DVD that the sewer guy had taken. Trenk figured out where the breaks were (not so easy if you think about it!), did the repair with no damage to the basement bathroom (which saved us lots of money as going through the bathroom floor would have also meant ripping out a shower) and figured out why the problem had happened. He also was able to diagram the drain sewer pipers which are a maze under the house and actually go out toward the back and not toward the front of the house. Trenk comes quickly, fixes stuff, and reasonably priced. He is smart, funny and personable. <br />"

"Jeff the plumber was on time, polite, reasonably priced (three estimates)and appeared to be quite honest as he could have easily ripped me off considering I know nothing about plumbing. His initial time and cost estimates were 8-16 hours, $2,000-$3000, but he had the problem fixed within six hours and charged me $750. Jeff clearly explained the problem beforehand then showed me the horribly corroded pipes after they were removed. Water stream/pressure is now very strong. :)"
