The two men (owner & son) arrived promptly at the time they had given me.  They immediately surveyed the work areas & talked with my husband & me about the job.  Then, they left the house & went to Home Depot to buy the paint & other materials needed.   When they returned here, they immediately started working -- the owner patching the kitchen ceiling, and the son painting the ceilings in the kitchen and the hallway.  The son installed a new ceiling fan in the powder room, after checking for a ceiling leak.  (There was no leak).   He painted all the wood work in the kitchen, hallway & dining room; as well as the sides of the staircase.  The owner painted the entire powder room (walls & ceiling) y -- after patching the wainscoat, which was not installed properly by the original handyman.   

They worked quietly and efficiently.   I was completely satisfied with the work. The owner kept asking me if I had more items for them to work on, besides the list of work I had given him.

I was 100% satisfied & would highly recommend this contractor.

"This was second time I have used them.  They always send someone out first to assess the work I want done and determine if they can do it.  They give an up front estimate and if I agree to it then it becomes the total price.  There were never any unexpected add on costs later.  They are also OK with doing little jobs.  Some handymen will not even consider a job unless it meets their minimum dollar amount or minimum full day/half day work schedule.  Handyman On Call will take jobs that only may need an hour or two to perform.  They are very punctual and show up exactly when they say they will.  Both of the times I have used this company the workers were some eastern European nationality (which is fine) but English appears to be a struggle for them.  While they can usually relay whatever issues they find while doing the job, I was never totally sure we were on the same page until I saw their work.  The one who comes out to assess speaks English very well.  The quality of their work is decent but not exceptional.  Overall, I think Handyman On Call does a very good job with routine handyman type jobs.  I will most likely use them again!

"We recently bought a foreclosed home that was in need of several repairs. I contacted Luckel Contracting and they got back to me the same day. Larry was very professional and honest. He made recommendations on how to approach the fixes with my budget in mind.

Larry and his crew painted several rooms in my home (including patching) and they look fantastic. I've had many experiences with painters and his crew did the best job I've seen. He also came back to fix nail pops in the ceiling, just to make it look nicer.

They also installed a ceiling fan, changed all the door locks, and did some other small, "handyman" fixes.

The price was very reasonable and it was all discussed prior to origination of the work.

The best part is that Larry's skill set is vast, so he was able to handle any "one off" project I threw at him.

Overall, I'm very please and we will be using Luckel Contracting with more projects as we get settled in.
