"A very professional job of removing old 4 x 8 panels and installing new vinyl siding, fascia and soffits was completed by Buck Christensen of Eagle Siding, Inc. In spring/summer 2023, we obtained 4 bids for the project, not only for the cost difference, but also to determine who we would have a good working relationship with. Buck was very knowledgeable, kept all appointments, answered all our questions, and always got back to us in a timely manner. This was not the case with some of the companies. Surprisingly, the estimates were all close, but the decision was an easy one for us, and we were not disappointed. We are very happy with the completed project. "We had 3 companies come out to bid our home exterior project. We are very happy we went with Capital to replace our roof, siding and windows. Jeff and Danny were great to work with. They took a lot of time with us at the initial meeting to answer all our questions and give us suggestions for our work. They kept us updated throughout the project as materials were delivered and when the different crews would be working on our house. The roofing crew was very efficient and hard working. Bryan the window installer was outstanding. We were very impressed with his high-quality work and attention to detail. John, Tony, and the rest of the siding crew were also fantastic. "The company is always pleasant to work with.  The prices quoted seemed fair and they did everything quickly and correctly from the get-go.  Josh did the siding on the four gables and siding on the garage door frame and also the chimney repairs.  He is a great person to work with, staying late to finish each day he was here.  The insulation was done by cutting through the roof, because of the small vault of the roof, and by removing tiles to blow it in on the sides.  They do nice work and great clean-up.

- They were the third contractor to look at the leak I had into my house.  The other two contractors were not able to identify the problem.  Lakewoods Remodeling did.
- They identified that the leak was due to the sliding and not the roof.  However, there was a concern that removing and reattaching the 25 year old sliding would be difficult.  The siding was no longer available and I didn't want to pay for all new siding.  Lakewoods Remodeling did a detailed analysis on my situation and guaranteed that they could remove the old siding, make the repair, and reattach the old siding.
- They successfully completed the repair and did such a good job that myself and my wife had no idea that the work had been completed while we were at work.  It looked just like before and there was no evidence that they had been there.
In summary, they solved a difficult problem, had the unique skills to correct the problem, and completed the repair efficiently.  Also, the price was very reasonable."

"I will call this “The Good, The Bad and the Ugly review” as I am breaking this review into the 3 teams that we had – 2 very good and done quickly and 1 inferior with the most time spent at our house – thus the overall 3 star grade. The Good • Roofing Team – Grade: A. Efficient, good job, found virtually no nails or roofing materials on the ground • Gutters – Grade: A. One man crew but he knew what he was doing and provided good suggestions for modifying our water flow. The Bad • Siding & Window Team – Grade: C to D. Not sure how they were trained but they didn’t seem to understand some common construction basics. A few of the many examples – o They nailed the siding on wrong and had to start over. o They almost ripped the 120V electrical outlet off the house without turning off the breaker but it was the weekend and we happened to be in the garden and saw them. o Installed the dryer vent wrong twice – once painting it shut and the next time putting on a vent with a label on it saying “not for use with clothes dryers” due to the pre-installed screen. The Ugly • Siding & Window Team – Used caulk as touch up paint on LP Smartside (or just used the siding to clean off their dirty fingers?) – leaving random “chicken pox marks” all over new siding. Garage, driveway and all 4 sides of our house were filled with equipment and garbage for the length of the project. Not the crew to have if you have children or pets – they left old saw blades and other sharp objects around the garage entrance and the house. I didn’t expect a spotless home every night but I didn’t expect to be living with this much disarray with minimal clean up each night, even after asking the supervisor to improve pickup of at least garbage and sharp objects in the garage and the common walking paths. Nor did we expect to be spending our fall cleaning caulk off the “maintenance free” siding and re-painting it and installing our outside boxes correctly. I will give the owner credit for realizing that his siding and window crew did inferior work and giving us a discount on our bill. None-the-less, I am rating the services provided based on the quality of the work done."

The gutter crew did not meet promised dates, damaged an expensive downspout and I am still waiting for the replacement one month later. The painters were so far behind that one month after completing the siding, the trim is still not done."
