"We interviewed several independent hardwood installers and chose Classic Flooring Solutions on the basis of their presentation, proposal, and description of the crews that were long term employees or family members. Jacob described in detail how he would match the level of the existing tile that would abut the hardwood in three locations and how he would provide transitions to carpeted rooms and carpeted stairs. Estimated time was 3-4 days, in actuality completed work in just under 3 days even with change to scope of work (new baseboard requiring multiple cuts to fit, rather then reuse existing baseboards). Caleb was project supervisor and had 2-3 assistants throughout. Total of about 700 sq ft. I had much of the furniture out of the area except for a large china cabinet, a large bookcase and a spinet piano, all on sliders for carpet. The crew moved these pieces multiple times (without added charge) during the work flow and substituted felt sliders that I had ready. Arrived promptly as scheduled and worked with minimal break time. Part of the proposal was for a trailer dumpster for debris which was easily placed in my driveway and did not prevent me from using the driveway for parking. Workmanship was meticulous and job site was cleaned at the conclusion. Time from acceptance of proposal to work beginning was about 6 weeks, but since flooring was custom ordered, wait time from arrival of material to job was only about 2 weeks. We would recommend them without reservation."

"I hate to say this, but this was one of the worst experiences I have had. Initial issues returning messages, but did respond after 2nd message and set appointment up quickly. Tech called to say coming early but then apparently set outside home for 45 minutes before coming in. I was not there to inspect work but was made aware by someone else that my trim work was damaged during cleaning. I was first told it was due to new paint which was not possible, then told it was not painted right. After more than 5 calls during my work it was agreed upon a $75 discount as Bob (owner) said they would rather give discount than make paint repair. Later I received more than 10 calls and texts questioning my integrity and calling me a user because I told them to live up to the $75 discount they agreed on. It was the most unprofessional and pathetic exchange with a business owner I can remember. Finally, the cleaning was poor. I was expecting more, but could understand if they could only get the marble so good but they left my vent covers off, failed to clean my shower outside trim which they said they did, and didn't clean under both my vanities. They may very well do great work, but this was just a bad experience for me and I will never use them again. Overall, this was an F- experience, made so largely due to the owner and his almost obsessive issue with calling me to arguing to reduce his discount and referring to the bible and his Lord. Yes, it got that weird."
