"We hired Hillside to build a deck but we're having solar panels installed and asked them to look at the roof, which we knew needed some work based on the home inspection we'd had done at purchase earlier this year. As soon as they got up there, it was clear the roof was in much worse condition than we realized -- and they offered to completely strip it, add new wood all over, and re-shingle it, along with re-shingling the garage roof.
