Pete Lange, owner, was excellent to deal with - he is very fair minded and endeavors to create happy clients. Pete provided overall project oversight, materials ordering, and communication. Sean was assigned by Pete as his overall project manager and did good work during both demolition and various rebuild activities. In addition, we appreciated Sean's attention to daily cleanliness in keeping our home as clean as possible during the work project. Pete also scheduled his subcontractors in a well coordinated manner. Particularly good work was performed by his drywall & painting subcontractor, as well as his tile floor/shower tile subcontractor. All in all, strong execution by Excel General Contracting. We are now also having Pete quote on an additional project for us given this performance."

"They do not install steam showers"

"We found that the wall in our laundry closet was soft and damp. After opening the wall a bit we found massive water damage. Ray with Lopez Bros Construction responded quickly to our request for quote, came out and assessed the damage, and gave us an idea of what it would cost. He then pointed out the demo work that was needed and offered to allow us to do what we could of the work to save us money. Once the demo work we could do ourselves was done, Ray and his crew came out to complete it and then identify where the leak was. This had clearly been going on for some time as the entire floor and subfloor was completely rotten. Ray coordinated the plumber to fix the leak, remove the water heater that was in the garage on the other side of the laundry wall as it was pressing through the other side. After allowing several days for everything to dry out, Ray and his crew then began building back the floor and the walls. Work was completed within a week. Everyone was professional and careful to keep the mess to a very minimum. Ray communicated everything he found, his plan to fix, and showing progress throughout the project. He always let us decide how far to go (removing the water heater and repairing the other side of the wall was our decision) and never pressed to do any more than what we were comfortable with. The project was much bigger than expected, but the price of the work wasn't much more than what was originally discussed. SUPER happy with Lopez Bros work!"
