"We have been Will’s Plumbing customers for over ten years. They have replaced several water heaters, a water softener, installed a new toilet and today William “Junior” repaired a water line leak in the front yard. We have always been pleased with their work, they do it right the first time. Their employees are responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They send a plumber within hours of our calls. They arrive on time, explain the work involved, answer questions, give a solid price quote, and clean up when the job is done. It is without hesitation that I recommend Will’s Plumbing & Testing Service and ask for William “Junior” Krashoc, it was a pleasure having him on the job."

Customers say: Quick response

"Setting up an appointment, responsiveness and punctuality were excellent. 19 months ago I had a leak on my residential water main repaired. Unfortunately the main is leaking again. I couldn't recall offhand who had done the work last time but did a quick search on Angie's List and chose A& A. From the moment I called, the experience was excellent. Carrie (sp? sorry) took my call and had me set up and had two techs at my door in less than two hours. The techs, Kyle and Dale were extremely quick in coming up with a price estimate. I don't want to say it was off the charts but.. I had watched the previous tech repair the leak in less than an hour. I went through my records and located the receipt. With a 10% discount, I had paid $270. On this call, A&A quoted me $475 for the same work so unfortunately I did not okay the repair."

"I was impressed by the professionalism and Knowlege of the Air Systems AC repairmen. The AC coil in an AC system that I had installed by another AC company failed. I called Air Systems to help diagnose the problem that I was having with the system. They quickly shut the system down to help minimize the water damage to the ceiling of my house, replaced the AC coil, leveled and replaced the AC drain pan, and rerouted some PVC drain pipes to the outside of my house. A follow-up inspection by a company manager was accomplished by Air Systems three days later to ensure that all repairs had been accomplished as agreed."

"We paid almost $600 for emergency auger of our home sewage line a month ago when the toilets backed up, found out roots in the line. That company, Plumbing 3000, charged a lot for midnight repair and offered no diagnostic info or offer to fix. Research showed spot repair or replace could run from $1k to repair to over $10 for replace. One company here on AL quoted 250 for camera diagnostic. Too much. City-base charged around 125 for camera diagnostic and let me take pics of their color LCD screen showing the exact issue and location. They then allowed the 125 to apply to the fix action if we used them, which we did. They quoted about 800 or so for basic repair, around 1000 for mid-level repair using steel fittings, and almost 1400 for that plus a 6-inch pvc sleeve around the 4-inch main pvc. Aggressive roots had punched a hold bigger than a half-dollar size, so we did the high-end repair at $1382, discounted from $1500 for being retired military. No mention of AL discount was given, just military. They sent me pictures of the repaired pipe before they buried it. The dirt hump left in my front yard is fairly large and they left a bunch of rocks, small and large, in the pile, which I had to remove myself. They gave a 7-year warranty on the work. Overall pleased with price and quality of repair."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in San Antonio, TX

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
