They did a good job explaining and triple checked for leaks before they left. Of course they tried to upsell and gave us a metal trap they did not quote us upfront for. We would have chosen it over plastic, but price difference would need to be cleared upfront. That's the only negative. Otherwise, thus far we are very happy with the result. "They recommended a good solution for the occasional shallow flooding in the garage (installing a sump pump) They started soon after we submitted the request and they did a good job. Most importantly, the pump kept the garage dry through our seemingly endless rains this winter. There are 2 reasons I rate the job with 4 stars rather than 5. (1) The job did not pass the city’s inspection and a critical connection had to be reconfigured (after which it passed) and (2) there was some weirdness around payment on the last day of the actual work (before the inspection) in which the crew seemed unwilling to leave without a check and then were slowly driving around the neighborhood afterwards. When I brought this up with my contact at the company, he denied that the van was theirs (which it definitely was) and didn’t really explain or defuse the bad feeling this created. But … they did a good job and in this day and age that’s really important and can’t be taken for granted. I recommend this company with the suggestion that paperwork, permitting, terms of payment etc should be clearly settled in advance."
