"We called Westmoreland after losing faith in our current pool service company. Since we have used 3 other pool companies in the past 3 years, I can say that for many companies are able keep the water clean and clear if it is not 105 degrees outside or if there are no monsoons or if all the equipment is functioning properly. But at any sign of trouble, past pool companies become "busy" or don't know how to properly repair the problem. I was cautiously optimistic when I hired Westmoreland. Clay (the owner) was very personable and genuinely seemed invested in gaining my trust. He also was knowledgeable about my pool equipment. His company is small, so he is able to provide quick and individualized service. His techs keep our pool clean and all equipment well maintained. For instance, if a hose on our vacuum cracks, it is replaced immediately to prevent damage to our pool pump. When we had a problem with our salt cell (which was improperly installed by a previous company), he went to great lengths with the manufacturer to ensure that the repair would be covered under the warranty--saving us a lot of hassle and quite a bit of money. I finally feel confident that our pool is being serviced properly, which allows us to truly enjoy our pool without the stress or frustration."

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"I called Matt at Mountain Park and got an estimate for all of the work. The guys called and asked if they could come by early, which was fine with me. Jake and Fabien arrived right on time and split up to get the various valves changed. They were friendly, knowledgable and knocked the tasks out in very good time. The only issue I had was that the new hose bib developed a slow drip at the pipe fitting. I called Matt and he had one of his guys swing by the following morning and fix it right up while I was out at an appointment. I appreciate this company's attention to customer service. I'll definitely use them again."

"H&K arrived on time, used a wet vacuum to contain any water, completed the job in about two hours, and did a complete clean up.  Kevan (the owner) was friendly and very knowledgeable about the job, having serviced many of the same type of wall mounted toilets in the Sun City, AZ area.  I highly recommend H&K for any plumbing job. <br />"

"I picked this company from Angie's List, never dealt with them before, to move a soft water tank and reconnect after the replacement of a 75 gallon hot water heater. I talked to Frank, he was at his home and on the roof. I explained what I wanted said he would call me back shortly. He did call me in about 10 minutes. He explained they were closed on Saturday and asked what the issue was. I explained my dilemma stating that on Monday morning a plumber was to deliver and install a hot water heater. A home warranty company was handling this but would not pay to move the soft water tank for access to the hot water heater. Frank asked me questions as to the type of soft water system and particulars of the unit. I sent him photos of the unit. He called back and explained to me in detail how to disconnect the tank myself, step by step. He asked me to call him back after I was done. Frank did call me but I hadn't disconnected the unit as the plumber would now not be out until Tuesday morning. He asked me to call him if I had any questions and to let him know how it went. I am not a handyman so this little job seemed daunting. I disconnected the unit and reconnected without a hitch. Went smoothly and I didn't break anything. Frank did not have to help me in this manner. He could have responded to my original call by sending out a technician on Monday and charged for the visits to disconnect and reconnect the soft water tank. I appreciate Franks help so much. He helped me with no expectation for compensation. I will call his company for any issues or problems with my system, and would recommend his company any time. Thanks very much."

"Tim Barnes and his crew are amazing and I am very hard to please. I had a leak in the main water line from the city meter box to my house. Tim initially came out for a FREE assessment of the problem. He correctly identified the issue and initially had no idea where in the yard the leak was at because there really wasn't water surfacing (yet). But the blue dial on the meter was spinning fast. I said I would dig down in 2-3 places myself ( to save a few hundred bucks) and call him if I found it. He said ok and then showed me where he thought the leak was. He was spot on. I dug down, 20 minutes, and found the main waterline had a slight leak going under the concrete walkway to the front door. I called Tim. He came out again and gave me an estimate. He said the whole line had to be replaced because it was polybutylene ([*** Link removed ***] We knew our neighborhood had this issue and the inside of the home had already been replaced. Tim and his crew were amazing. This was not an easy job. My house is on Lookout Mountain and the yard was so hard and full of buried boulders they had to use a jack hammer. It took 3 guys and 12 hours of labor. New pipe was laid and connected properly. Somehow they put the yard back together as if they were never there. All the rock, landscaping lights and irrigation was as it was when they arrived. They were great!!! The best part is the blue dial stopped spinning."

"On Apr03, my heat pump kicked on because of the cool morning.  The air wasn't heating up.  I called a heating and air conditioning service that I use.  They came out and determined that it needed about two pounds of refrigerant.  I told them I had gotten three pounds in Nov 2013 and told them there has to be a leak.  The service guy determined it needed a new coil.  My unit was from 1998.  Service guy called the next day and told me the part was obsolete so that left me no choice but to purchase a new heat pump.  I had his company salesman come out and give me a quote.  My brother said to try Air Factor because he had them replace his a/c unit last year and also had them replace one on one of his rental homes.  I called them on Friday April 4th and salesman named Tim came out within two hours.  He first went upstairs and looked in my attic to check on the ventallation tubing and determined it all looked good and no apparent leaks.  He them climbed onto my roof to look at the unit.  It sits on a small balcony off the back of the house.  He took pictures and took measurements.  He then found a unit for me, a 13 SEER, 3 ton Bryant unit which is made by Carrier.  Total price was $5585.00.  The other bid I got was about $940 more than his.  He came back on Monday April 7th and I signed a contract with them.  He said they had an installation opening on Wednesday April 9th.  The installer came out about an hour prior to disconnect the power from the unit as well as the wooden stand it was sitting on.  The crane came about an hour later and took old unit off and put new unit on.  Total installation took 4 hours.  The salesman named Tim had an unbelieviable knowledge of heating and air conditioning.  I have never seen of any guy that had his knowledge.  I recommend Air Factor highly."

"The site visit started out with Jon giving some recommendation on alternative sewer ideas, but then conversation quickly digressed and Jon began to question the approved plans and I disagreed with his assessment in which I responded with this is "per code". Jon responded "I've been doing this for 30 years" and he wouldn't do the work the way it is designed. Jon may be right, but his approach was very unprofessional and very aggressive. For that reason I would not hire J and H for this project or in the future."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in San Manuel, AZ

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
