First, I spoke with general purpose plumbers who did not seem as knowledgeable about the details/differences between products. They seem to only carry one model in their inventory and unable to advise if another model might be right for me. So it made it hard for me compare and contrast products. Next I spoke with water heater specialists Just Water Heaters and Excalibur Water Heaters. They have more than one model in inventory and were able to go into good detail about their products/services. Ultimately, I chose Excalibur Water Heater because I appreciated: 1) the detailed information on their website, 2) the family business aspect and hands-on owner, and 3) the commitment to customer service should any problems arise afterwards. The install went smoothly and no issues so far."
