The price was very reasonable, and it was easy to communicate with Javier. We were told what time the crew would arrive and how long it would take to complete the work. After the flooring was installed, the crew cleaned up and didn't leave a mess on the floor. they are very friendly and nice. "I hired Harvey Guzman flooring to replace extremely unlevel, cracked tile flooring in my business space, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. "We received several bids on the work we needed done. Mario Diaz Flooring was not the cheapest bid and not the most expensive. We chose them because of their ratings and the confidence Mario had that we would love the end product. Our situation was not just refinishing original hardwood floors, putting adding a brand new 300 square foot oak floor with a 70-year-old existing oak floor that flow together. When we pulled up the carpet, we had a lot of stains in the wood, some fresh and wet from my daughter's dog when they visit us, which I was not aware existed. I was amazed that Mario’s crew got all the stains out and the new room they added matched the old oak floors so well. They did a beautiful job. They showed up everyday and completed the job in a timely manner. The crew worked very hard and were very polite. A few companies that quoted the project seemed to make a big deal about adding a brand new room with the original oak flooring we had. Mario assured us we would be happy with the end product and gave us confidence in his craftsmanship. He said our floors will look pretty much the same because he uses solid oak similar to what was used in the 1950s (newer but oak). He uses a process to age the wood to help it match the original. We were amazed how the floors matched up so perfectly. They laid it down piece-by-piece (no fake wood or prefab material). We absolutely love the look of our new floors. I will never cover up these beautiful wood floors with carpet ever again. I encourage people to get multiple bids and have conversations with the companies. It is time consuming but worth the effort or just skip them all and call Mario Diaz' company. If you get multiple bids, you will figure out fast who is taking advantage and highballing the project."

"I expected the baseboards to be removed for the install of the floors and then reinstalled. I was never told that the baseboard would not be removed... which means that the wood was only installed short of the baseboards, and now, I will always have to have a base shoe. This is not a design element that I want to be forced to live with. We went back and forth about how unhappy I was with being pigeonholed to this decision... and things got quite contentious at times. But all in all, the wood floors themselves look good."

"The overall experience with the New Floor Co. was excellent.  Dan Paik is the owner of the company.  He quickly responded to my initial call, came to my house and evaluated the job and prepared an estimate promptly.  Dan came across as very competent.  I felt secure that he knows wood floors inside and out.  After accepting the bid, I was introduced to Victor Munoz.  Victor is lead installation man in the company.  Victor is a real craftsman and perfectionist.  
My house is pretty old, built around 1908.  The job required a good amount of leveling to make the floor look uniformly flat.  Victor did this artfully.  He went under the house to secure and strengthen the subfloor where it was loose.  The doors needed some cutting to accommodate the new floors.  Victor even fixed things along the way that were not functioning.  For example, my front door opened and closed roughly.  He fixed it in no time flat.  Two other people were on the job with Victor, Gi (his brother) and Deshawn (brother in-law).  Both worked very hard and contributed their know how to completing the job.  Aside from being very hard workers, all three of these guys are very pleasant, professional and total gentlemen.  By the time the job was nearing completion, I actually felt like these guys became friends.  
After all is said and done, my floors look awesome!  The team at New Floors Co met and surpassed my expectations.  I highly recommend them.

They suggested we tear it out, but making those complex cuts was no problem for Mahshad. He flawlessly fitted the molding riser and it couldn't look more perfect! Plus he was quick and courteous.
