"My husband had replace our existing faucet with a new one and had turned the water off at the outside valve  when he went to turn the water on the old gate valve froze shut there for we had no water inn the entire house. This part took place in the late afternoon. I arrived home from work at 3:30 and proceeded to Angies List to locate a plumber, after calling about  5 Above and Beyond Plumbing being one of them. I specifically was looking for one close by in our area as we live in the E valley. I had left a message with Rich about my problem and he returned my call not to long after he got the message. He said he could be here by 6 pm and of course we agreed.
At about 6 pm he again phoned & said he was running a little late and it would be another 30 min. He did arrive at approx. the time he said and got right to work with the valve. Our prior conversation on the phone he also told us about what the cost would be. He performed the work in a timely manner and made sure our water was on and running.. We will call then again if needed and recommend them to anyone that needs excellent service. We were very please do to the fact he was able to come as soon as he did and felt the price as fair. I rated the price as  a "B" as I do not know how much it would run with other company's.

"My experience with American Leak Detection in Phoenix went okay. They said they were going to do something, but they never came back for it. But they did fix the main leak in my pool. I have a very old pool and it had a pretty serious leak and they fixed it very quickly, very professionally. However, there was an aerator on the pool that they said they would come back and fix, but they never came back. They were capable and very helpful. They explained everything very well to me. They showed up when they said they were going to and did the work quite quickly."
