When emailed questions pertaining to the 15k+ project few were answered- and when I called their tone was that I clearly didn't know much about foundation repair. "I brought in three contractors for bids on this project.  The bids ranged from $13,400 (Tafoya) to $26,000 dollars. <br /> <br /> These guys are great.  They show up when they say they will, start work promptly, work hard all day, and clean up before they end the day.  This job involved moving plants, sprinkler piping, mulch, and dirt away from the house so they could hand-dig the trench beside the foundation.  They kept the moved plants watered and in good shape for the two-plus weeks it took to do the job.  When they finished, everything was back in its place. <br /> <br /> Jorge and his team are very professional and know what they're doing.  There were no cost over-runs or hidden expenses.  As one would expect with an old house, once they dug down they found out there was no footing under the front porch steps, so they had to pour some concrete to support it and put up the waterproofing, this added $500 to the overall cost; which I thought was reasonable and acceptable. <br /> <br /> Not only do I recommend Jorge, this is who I will turn to for all future construction/repair of my home."
