Following that, it took somewhat longer than I had hoped to get an initial bid and to actually start the job, but his bid turned out to be lower than the others, and I could see that the delay was for the right reason -- Pete always prioritizes the roof he's already working on to make sure it's done well and as quickly as possible, so a house doesn't stay unprotected for longer than necessary. Genaro, especially, was great at innovative problem solving and did beautiful work, but everyone on the team was super dedicated, hard working, and skilled. We have already had one heavy downpour since the new roof went on, and not a single drop got through!
