The initial install was going great until he unboxed the new hot water heater only to realize it was completely dented. He worked with us to figure out a solution. He installed the dented water heater, so we wouldn't be without water until the new one could be here (special order). They were professional, thorough and reasonably priced....most of all they provided a solution for a clogged, compromised sewer pipe that otherwise could have been disastrous. My recently purchased house was built in 1968 and soon after moving in, the drain kept clogging. After jetting the line and an initial de-scaling/cleaning attempt, the video that was taken revealed that my sewer pipe under my slab was severely compromised, fractured and with holes in multiple spots. Other tradespeople I spoke with said that my floor and slab would need to be cut open to dig out the old sewer pipe and replace it with PVC---an ENORMOUS expense and undertaking.I am so glad I called Jax Hydro-Jetters. "I wasn’t sure what was wrong as I was just hearing a shorting noise from behind the panel and I’d had lights flicker a couple of times so I submitted a quote request through Angie’s List. Total Comfort was the first to respond and told me they could come by next day. They were up front on their service charges. Electrician was by the next day and at first thought everything looked good except the panel and breakers were old and that I might want to replace at some point. We tried replicating the noise I heard so we turned the heat on to draw more power. Issue was coming from the main breaker. He tried to see if they could get a replacement, but it wasn’t being made anymore. As I have been trying to fix up the house to sell, I authorized the panel replacement. He quoted me $1,200 and told me that they would waive the service charge (price was within range of what I saw from other places). He was there the next day and had everything up and running. Price was as quoted and everything seems to be working fine now."
