"Several months ago, I noticed that doors in my house were no longer closing and latching. Specifically, my front door no longer locked completely. Once I got it fully locked I could no longer open my front door anymore, so I knew I had foundation issues. I called Bay Area Underpinning to come look at my foundation and do some measurements. We discovered that my front living room was sinking approximately one and a half to 2 inches. The crew, Lance Sladek, Jake Hall, and Eddie Shaw, crawled under my house and dug 30 to 40 foot holes in the ground to install piers that would lift my foundation. These gentlemen worked in very cramped dirty conditions in 90-100° weather. I was extremely happy with their work and their dedication to doing the job correctly. My after the foundation lift, my front door as well as several other doors in my home were able to close and latch again."

"Integrity waterproofed the roof of my floating house to create large deck space and some months later waterproofed the new decks around my house, both times using an epoxy based product called Deck 70. "Overall, I was pleased with the result. The scheduling of the initial estimate and the start of the work were not smooth. The estimator missed the original appointment. Later, once I sent my deposit for the work in, I there was no communication for quite some time from anyone. I had to call and ask when they would be coming to do the work. I also had to persuade them to install the Thermal Dry tile, which they initially did not want to do, as they had no experience with it. They did not order enough of the tile, which delayed the job. However, the installers, once they got started, in particular Daniel, were very professional and punctual. My house was recently on a neighborhood Home Tour and half a dozen people wanted to know about the Thermal Dry tiles for possible installation in their own basements. I wouldn't be surprised if that product starts being in high demand."

"Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."
