For new roof replacements, the quality of their work and materials is apparent when you first view all the steps included in their detailed construction bid, but it's not just the attention to detail, but how they deliver on those details that sets them apart from other companies. For example, this year they did a complete roof replacement which included replacement of 100 lineal feet of fascia boards. We expected with that amount of board replacement to have a fair amount of stucco patching, but they removed the boards so cleanly that there was only one very small spot that had to be patched. They primed and painted all 6 sides of each newly installed board prior to installation to prevent future rot. The old underlayment was completely removed so that the roof diaphragm could be thoroughly inspected and all areas repaired before installing new double layers of underlayment. There's nothing better than feeling confident that the very bottom foundation layers of your new roof are sound and secure from the start. They use premium caulk and pay a lot of attention to make sure all the joints and gaps are caulked for a tight installation. When an unexpected windstorm developed during construction, Chris returned on a Sunday to ensure that the roof-in-progress was secure for the storm. Every project they've ever done has always been with the same attention to detail using the best materials and craftsmanship. Over the years they have established an excellent track record and we feel they are the best in town for roofing. There may be a wait to schedule with them, but they are definitely worth the wait."

"It was great. Tom and Tyler showed up on time and explained a few things to me and got right to work. They were very friendly and the service was at a great price. They were thorough and very neat, no mess was made, they even layed down moving blankets on my wood floor to ensure no mess. I had good news because I had no cracks in my chimney. They cleaned the chimney installed a new spark arrester and fixed my damper all within one hour. Tom gave me some tips on how to heat up my fireplace before I put wood in as well as how often I should have my chimney cleaned. "We've had a problem with birds and a squirrel coming down our chimney. One chimney is in the kitchen for an indoor grill, and there is our fireplace in the den. We have rarely used either the grill or fireplace in the mid-century home we inherited from our parents. We decided to get the chimneys capped to prevent animal invasion. Luna's Chimney Sweep had very good reviews, so I called and was informed by Violet what the process is and that they offer a free estimate. I made an appointment and Pedro Luna and his assistant, Chris, arrived promptly on the appointed day and time. Mr. Luna explained their service and also gave us good information about the operation and mechanisms of fireplaces. He did the inspection and told us the problem areas that he found and gave us the option of how much work we would want to have done on the fireplaces. He said they could start work that day if we accept the estimated price, or make an appointment for them to come back another day. We decided to have the recommended repairs done that day, with cleaning and capping of both fireplaces. The work was completed in a little under three hours. Mr. Luna and Chris were thorough, efficient, and neat. He reviewed the work done with us and made sure we were satisfied with everything. They were careful to clean up afterward and the work areas were left spotless. We are pleased with the work done, the price seemed fair, and Mr. Luna was careful to explain everything and to make sure we understood the hows and whys of what he was recommending and doing. I would not hesitate to use his service again or give a referral to others."

"Gary was  prompt and professional for each appointment.  On the initial appointment, he patiently answered all my questions, provided a good selection of products to choose from, and gave a quote for services.  The day of service, Gary prepped & painted the inside of the fireplace as well as all hardware on the doors.  For the finishing touches, he installed a new burner and fire glass.  When he left the area was clean and ready to be enjoyed.  My boring, outdated gas fireplace is now updated, and looks great!!!  I'd hire Gary again. <br />"

"John came out and inspected my gas and wood burning chimneys and vents. Cleaned wood burning unit. Also cleaned out my dryer vent. I love that the company calls me every fall to set up the service. I just found out thay they also service your furnace and are having them come out in 2 weeks top provide this service. <br />"

"Albert came the day after I called to look at the roof and give me an estimate. He then sent me a contract (complete with copies of their insurance and licensing details) which I signed and put in the mail the next day. The cover letter on the contract said I would be contacted within 1 day of their receiving the signed contract. That didn't happen. I ended up calling them to schedule the repairs after 3 or 4 days had gone by. I was told that they would be there between 7 and 8 that morning and was pleasantly surprised when they showed up at 7:15. They immediately got to work. During the course of the repair, they discovered that my skylight (which was connected to the area they were working on) was badly cracked. They told me about it and said it would need to be replaced sometime. That had been on my to-do list so I readily agreed when they said they could go get a skylight and replace it. They called Albert so I could talk to him about it and find out about the price. While one of the workers went to get a new skylight, the other one continued working. They finished all the repairs including replacing the skylight in about 3.5 hours. When they had finished, they cleaned up and took the old skylight to dispose of. I was told that I would receive the bill in the mail, but when I hadn't received anything in over a week, I called to find out about it. I received it about three days after that. The bill was for the agreed upon amount for the repair and the cost of the new skylight. I have used this company before and feel that they do good work and charge reasonable rates. Albert is very pleasant and the two workers were very polite and professional. They might need to work a little on their responsiveness, but overall I am pleased with them and their work and have recommended them to neighbors."
