"Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. And the work behind the scenes cleaning the carpets is clearly of the highest quality. We had some of the 11 carpets we took to Bear cleaned last year in our office in Las Vegas. We had them cleaned again. There was no comparison. I'd highly recommend them if you love your carpets!"

"Damon came out to the house and measured all of the area to be replaced. We went by Enchantment and looked at samples and took lots of them home so we could see them in place. We finally chose a carpet and 2 different tiles. The installers came just before Christmas and did the job quickly and efficiently. They were very nice and professional. We are extremely pleased with the results. Thanks to Damon for showing us carpets that he thought would work. The one we chose was nothing like what I had in mind but I am in love with this carpet! The bathroom tiles are beautiful and the wood look hickory tile that we put in our den was exactly what we both had in mind. It is perfect. Damon listened to us and we took his suggestions and the entire project turned out great."

"I was very pleased with all aspects of the service. Jacob, the technician, knew so much about carpets and stains and cleaning products that I was confident he made the best choices for my needs. My carpet looks much better and this was the first time the carpet actually was dry by evening."

"This last year we decided to remove all the carpeting and crumbling flooring in the kitchen, laundry and pantry areas. The next problem was to choose the kind of tile, the color and design. We went to Home Depot and Lowes to look at the types of tiles and designs available. We did not find either the service or the
selection of tiles to our liking.
We agonized over choosing colors and patterns, surfing the web. We found two sites that had the colors and designs on floors. We chose those. We then needed to find someone that could that could remove the old carpeting and remove the old
flooring. After searching through Angie?s list, we found A Quality Install. I called and spoke with Mark Romero, the owner of the company. He was interested in the job, even though we are in White Rock and his area is closer to Albuquerque. He came to the house, looked it over and accepted the job.
The total square footage was ~950 sq. ft. We showed him the tile selections that we found on the net, including the colors and patterns. Mark said he could probably find the tiles at a better price that I could on my own. So, we accepted his offer. He
found the exact ceramic porcelain tiles that we wanted. He found the small decorative tiles for the design in the living room and the ?diamond? squares that went into the kitchen, dining room and the laundry room. These are beautiful scroll work designs made from 1/8?x1/8? marble columns. They come anchored to a mat ready for placement and grouting. They are expensive for a total diamond (2?x2?), but I plan to live here and decided it was worth the cost to get a floor that has beauty as well as durability.
We set the date to start work for the 12th of November and they began then. They took up the carpeting and linoleum type flooring, cleaned the cement, and then moped it with bleach. The bleach was to take care of the accidents that the dogs had over the years. They then worked professionally and timely. They finished the work on time, a few days before Thanksgiving. There
were no extra or ?hidden? charges. The price given to us was what we paid.
We are very satisfied with the workmanship and would recommend them to anyone looking to have ceramic tile put down.
This review is coming in late due to the holidays and other family obligations that took time."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Sandia Park, NM

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
