"If you have brown water, talk to Action Well and Pump. My water was so full of magnesium and manganese that the county told me not to drink it so I lived on bottled water for 10 years. My clothes were brown (regardless of their original color) and so full of minerals that they were stiff. I looked and researched for a filtration system but was unimpressed with the responses from other providers. They would either tell me their system would not help me (at least they were honest!) or would say "sure our softening and filtration system will take care of it for $12K - $15K" until I wanted a guarantee.
