"FABULOUS RESULT! Barry is a consummate professional. He is relaxed and friendly, knows his stuff, gets right to work, and creates a gorgeous result. He stretched three areas for us: 1) a long, wide hallway, 2) a master closet, and 3) the corner of a large living room. Results are stunning; carpet looks new! We feared we would need to replace the carpet because the ripples continued to increase over time (HUGE expense). Now, we have avoided the cost of replacing the carpeted areas, and we are dancing with joy. We definitely recommend Barry."

"North Park Rug and Carpet is AWESOME! <br /> I needed to carpet an unfinished staircase within 48 hours (was having a house appraisal). <br /> I called and Mike was willing to help me the same day. I went over to the showroom and explained that I have animals and I was not sure if the carpet was going to be permanent, but I still wanted something that looked good. He took into consideration all of my concerns and he suggested some things on the show floor (nice options in his showroom). <br /> Then he asked if I was open to looking at the remnant area (these are the leftover carpet pieces after an installation). We looked at what was available and he found me carpet at a fraction of the price! I had checked around and I found nothing under $900 (and that would have been lower quality carpet). Mike really thought about what I wanted and was very accommodating and friendly (Kim was helpful also!). <br /> Installation was easy and professional. Steve came to do the measuring and sent a team to do the installation. I've had other cleaners and after a while, the spots reappear. <br /> He is the owner and has no workers. Many other companies hire and train their workers who may not as committed to doing a good. "Wade and his son replaced our carpet with laminate flooring in the living room, dining room, entry way and kitchen. They also replaced all of the baseboards in each of the rooms and offered any advice that I asked for in regards to color and style. They were punctual, very efficient and friendly. As Wade noticed things that he could quickly repair he would jump right in and do it with no charge. He fixed my broken gate latch, replaced my door stops and wiped down baseboards that he didn't even replace. I would highly recommend Ground Pounders for your flooring work."

"It is nice to find a company that truly believes in "customer comes first." Direct Carpet Unlimited in San Marcos is one of them. We have used them for 2 different projects, one a sheet vinyl installation. the other a total house re-carpeting. Owners Rebecca & Tommy and their staff make you welcome at their shop. They ask a lot of questions, listen to your responses, and then suggest samples to consider. They do not try to "up sell" or steer you to whatever pays the highest commission. In our situation - klutzy homeowners who like red wine and own a dog - a Shaw carpet called "Life Happens" fit the bill. The installers for both projects were on time and did a professional job. A minor glitch with the vinyl install was quickly corrected by Rebecca at no cost to us. There may be cheaper flooring shops, but IMO any project can have something go wrong, so it's best to pick the contractor with integrity. That's Direct Carpet."
