"We hired American Grout Specialist to install our tile back splash in our kitchen.  It was a fabulous experience.   They responded quickly to our inquiries. Showed up on time. Left the area clean each night and did a meticulous job on the tile work. I would hire them again in a second. <br />"

I often had to take the initiative to call Tam to follow-up on information and scheduling but we did get everything worked out. <br /> <br /> - Cost was normally $650 but Tam asked for a $50 surcharge due to our location out in the East Bay. <br /> <br /> - Work started at 9am and was finished at 5pm. <br /> <br /> - Work started with Tam's brother (Austin) and one assistant removing the grout with hand tools. At about midday, Austin left for another installation. Another staff member came by at about 2pm and Austin returned at about 3pm. So there were three people finishing up at the end of the day although Austin seemed to be doing most of the work. <br /> <br /> - Austin used the extra materials to clean-up the caulk for our toilet and sink (gratis). <br /> <br /> - Results look acceptable but I noticed some variation in the color of the grout. It's unclear to me what the cause of this is. I also found some grout material adhering to the tiles which I had to remove on my own. <br /> <br /> - Austin accepted my check and told me that his brother would mail me the invoice and receipt. I received nothing as of November 10th and sent an email inquiry. The invoice (marked and quot;Paidand quot;) was emailed to me on November 12th. <br /> <ul> <li></li> </ul> <br />"

"Our cleaning tech was Didier and he actually called to see if he could come earlier than scheduled. Fine with us. Didier was very professional and explained everything he would do to make our sofa clean again. He took great care in handling the fabric cushions and sectional bases. He even used floor cloths although we have tile floors. The sofa sections were vacuumed multiple times - there was a lot of cat hair embedded in the fabric that our vacuum wasn't able to handle. Because the cleaning process was so successful, we opted to have Didier apply a fabric protector coat. <br /> The process of vacuuming, cleaning and protecting the sofa took over 5 hours but the sofa looks great. We are very pleased with the whole experience and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend to a friend or family member.  <br />"

"I booked this work on Stanley Steemer's web order form and was pleased to have two followup up calls from their office acknowledging receipt of the order and reminding me about the appointment a day beforehand. Gustavo and Jose arrived during the promised service window and completed all the work in 45 minutes. The family room carpet was soiled to a degree that offered little hope that it could look like anything, but I was amazed at how good it looked after the cleaning. The guys were courteous and efficient and did all the required furniture moving without incident. The office followed up by phone to be certain that I was satisfied with the work. Overall, Stanley Steemer is a very well-managed operation that produces total customer satisfaction."
