They replaced with new plantings and stones. It totally changed the look of my lanai. The other landscaping was in my front yard. "The landscaping in the front of our yard has been overgrown and somewhat neglected recently. We are fast approaching the holidays and we needed it to look much better for company and overall curb appeal. I found Sampson Land Care on Angie's List and thought I'd give them a call based on the positive reviews I saw. He answered the phone immediately and offered to come and provide a quote within 30 minutes. My needs included pulling out some shrubs, a dead palm, pulling all the weeds, mulching and re-organizing some of the plants a bit. Also, we have a vinyl fence for our backyard so I also asked for him to pressure wash the inside and back of it. He was very honest and easy to work with. He provided different options and recommendations based on my needs which made it easy to decide. In addition, his price was very fair and within the budget I wanted to spend considering all the work that needed to be done. He even was able to start that afternoon and had everything done by the next morning! The landscaping and fence looked so much better and it was no longer embarrassing for me to walk out my front door and look at it. We also discussed some future projects about the grass in the backyard and also redoing some of the design of the front landscaping. I took several of his cards and will happily recommend Sampson Land Care to anyone that has a landscaping or pressure washing need. "Charlie said he would be here on Monday June 24th at 7am. He was here on time and he said he would be finished at 12 noon. Charlie showed up at 7am with a crew of six people. They finished the job by 10am. They pulled up a lot of old grass and also went above and beyond picking up some sawdust from a tree that we had just taken down and was left by the tree people. He then planted grass there for us and we have a very pretty lawn in the front and back of our home. The yard is a picture perfect lawn and everything was cleaned up to perfection. I would recommend Charlie's Sod to anyone. They are real professionals!"

"We were thrilled with the work Shady Lady did. The whole experience could not have gone better. The background story is that our yard had recently been re-landscaped by our prior landscaper after the yard had to be completely torn out and sadly very little of what we had asked for ahead of time was done. We parted ways with that landscaper and consulted Shady Lady for a meeting. We set up an initial appointment at our home and we were immediately impressed by the owner Bob. He was on time, professional and was an excellent listener as to what we liked and didn't like about our yard, and also to what we were interested in having done. Ours is also a rental home and Bob has an excellent understanding about what we and our guests love to see in a landscape, and guided us towards some beautiful and low maintenance plants. We were going for the tropical look, but were limited in some ways in the types of plants we could use because much of the yard is over a septic field. He had a great variety of ideas for that area which was challenging because of restrictions on sizes of plants and root systems they can have, but also had great ideas for the edge of the yard near the road, along the walkways, and how achieve a polished and finished look. He is knowledgeable about plants, soil, fertilizing, local ordinances etc. He recommended changes to our irritation system so that the sprinklers are nearly invisible as opposed to the prior one in which sprinklers were poking up throughout the yard, some as tall as 8-10 inches. He also offered to do some low voltage lighting for the yard. He answered all our questions, and got an estimate to us that included photos of plants he was recommending along with a sketch of the property and proposal and with specifically detailed line items. We decided to do everything he had proposed and are thrilled with the result. His crew arrived just after 7 am the day they had planned to start and were incredibly hardworking and efficient. My husband and I were surprised at how quickly they got things done. Even in a few hours things were remarkably transformed. The variety and beauty of the plants is amazing, we love the tropical look as well as the polished groomed look, and love the lighting. The lighting is like magic and has added so much to our enjoyment of the landscape! Because we were so happy with the front yard we just met last week with Bob to ask him to develop a proposal to redo the backyard including the area around our pool. We are also having him take care of yard maintenance. Whenever I have contacted Bob with questions or concerns he has gotten back to me quickly (I can reach him by email or if urgent by text) and it's a relief to be working with someone so reliable who is responsive and professional."
