"I called Floyd Custom Builds to remove a large portion of my deck, install new stairs, and fix existing railings. For the work they performed I felt the price was very fair. Easy to deal with and communicate with during the entire repair. Stairs were installed very well and I'm satisfied with the work. Thanks!"

"Everything was going great at the start of the project with the demo of the old deck in March 2016. However the craftsmanship of the carpenter was not very good, boards were rough cut and the gaps between the deck boards were inconsistent. Luis then stained the deck as promised, however this was too early to stain and the deck boards start seeping sap. It was unusable, we asked him to repair which he did, and they did a great job of fixing and re-staining the deck boards."

"Ideal Landscaping owned by Mychael Bennett provided A1 service. He was knowledgeable of his trade, professional & very courteous. He paid attention to detail in trimming and clearing the area around some extremely overgrown hedges in my mom’s backyard and treated the back and front yards. My mom (who is on the picky side - lol) was very pleased and will be doing business with him in the future."

"We booked construction for a realistic time frame, they asked to move it up and we agreed but they ended up overbooking and we moved back to the originally scheduled date.  To their defense we had 4 days of rain which messed up their schedule - that was the only "glitch'.
The crew of 5 arrived at 9:30am and by 8pm we had a 240 square foot shed with 3 windows, french doors, a single-entry door and a loft.  I've never seen more attention to detail or measuring - especially for a shed.  These guys acted like they were building a house.  They also added a ridge vent and put architectural shingles on the roof to match my house.
They were low-maintenance, extremely polite and cleaned the entire site before they left.
Oh and that decorative window - the level of detail one of the crew put into installing that (Wes?) was like a cosmetic surgeon.
These guys run a business that I want to support, they're local, they're smart and they are REALLY good at what they do.
By the way, our "drawing" of how we wanted the shed to look was awful and these guys took our vision and made it better than we imagined.  They didn't have a photo to go on, just words and ideas that they brought it to life.

"See notes above. My experience couldn't have been better. It's good to know someone as competent and reliable as these folks. There isn't any home building or renovatiion or repair work that I wouldn't be comfortable asking them to perform."

"I did not have a problem with any thing that was fixed so this was technically an upgrade to my system so I will not know until later if anything is better with my system. They were professional and knowledgeable. This was elective work and I did not shop around."

"Richard Cranner with Cross Cabinets looked at the broken drawer on my Grandfather's dresser that I had inherited.  I was afraid that the drawer could never be replaced.  Richard made a brand new drawer to match and with the stain he used. I can't tell which one is the new one.  Very pleased with this restoration."

"They did a wonderful job on my sunroom. A previous contractor did a VERY poor job - the sunroom was a disaster. But Coastal Empire made it BEAUTIFUL!! I was very happy with the results. The workers were very nice, and always cleaned up after their work."

"It was great he did a good job"

"I thought the estimate was a bit off as he wanted 70% up front. I thought that was a little too much for materials for that and I was always told not to put that much up front when you get work done. That seemed like an awful lot to me, that's why I rejected it.

He delayed me a few times when he said he would show up to do the estimate. The final estimate was not what I would consider, the amount was in the area of the other contractors, but the up front percent was off.  Never meeting him in person, his diagram, and all that I would say a B on professionalism."
