"I hired Silmac construction to remodel my basement. They put in a three-quarter bath, kitchenette, and finished the rest of the basement. This included cutting foundation for full size windows, putting in a new zone for heating and cooling system, and all the plumbing and electrical work needed. "Excellent! Liam is a quality craftsman. If you want someone who is professional, polite, and has an eye for detail then hire him. Liam not only picked out a quality door, but hung it to perfection. From the start, he was in touch with me via text. He sent me a photo of the door before ordering. He said it would take about 10 days to come in. He contacted me when the door was in and set up a date for install. He arrived 15 minutes early! , but didn’t ring my doorbell till 7am. He built a new door casing and installed a beautiful oak sill. He installed the door and provided plastic on the outside to protect it from the coming rain. ( not all contractors would do that) He cleaned up after the job and sent me a text to let me know the job was done. ( I was working in my office in the house). Liam is an A+ contractor. He does everything right from start to finish. He is exceptional and has a fair price. I will definitely hire him again for any future house projects, and you should too!"

"We had a fantastic experience with this company. Joe (the owner) was responsive, constructive, easy to work with, and reliable, and he did very high quality work. We had a quite extensive basement finishing project (finishing about 50% of a previously unfinished basement) that involved planning the use of the space, adjusting the plumbing organization to accommodate the bathroom we wanted to put in, installing electrical circuitry, installing the bathroom, rebuilding the stairs, installing a substantial network of soffits to enclose ducts and plumbing, and of course installing all the drywall, flooring, finishing etc needed to complete the space. Throughout the project Joe stayed in touch with us about plans and choices, and was flexible about accommodating our preferences while also giving us sage advice based on his (extensive) experience. He started on time and completed the work in line with the expected schedule. Joe did much of the work himself but he also brought in other specialists as needed, on schedule and with minimum fuss (plumber, electrical, etc), and he handled interactions with the town inspectors effectively too. He even helped us with some issues elsewhere in the house that came up while he was working on the basement, and came back to help us install some decorative items that we ordered but did not arrive before he officially finished. We are extremely happy with the end result and use the space almost every day. Anyone who sees the space is also very impressed. It's a wonderful addition to our home and exactly what we hoped for."
