"This was the second time that I used them. They were prompt, and the work was really great. When I showed it to tenants after the carpet was replaced, they were pleasantly surprised because it looked nice. There weren?t any snags or any strings hanging out. There was no mess for me to clean up, which I appreciated. They paid attention to detail and were good on their word. Their price was consistent and fair. My husband negotiated the price with them. It was at least a couple of thousand dollars because it was for a huge two-story apartment. I got what I paid for; if I had wanted fancy carpets, I would have had to pay a little bit more, but I got a commercial type one, which was fine for what I needed. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary."

"Maxcare was wonderful. I had just had all my woodwork sprayed white and they took great care to avoid marking it. Their dust free system is just that, very little dust was generated, mainly from areas that needed hand sanding. And they offer this system for all customers, not as an up-charge like both of the other companies that bid the job. They repaired several holes and installed a piece of missing nosing at no charge in addition to extending an Angie's list discount. The floors were sanded and stained in two days. Three coats of finish were applied, the men even returned on Sunday to apply the final coat. This company was aware of much work being done in the house and got the job done quickly so the work could proceed. All of MaxCare's employees were pleasant and personable, worked non-stop and gave me lots of maintenance and care information. And the floors look terrific. MaxCare came in with the low bid for the job, but their work was first rate."

"We were very happy with them. I think they were reasonable, very professional and did a great job. I would give them A's for everything and would use them again. The carpet ended up being 800 dollars. I didn't think the price was bad because they put in incredible amount of work in and it is very nicely done I must say. They were extremely patient because I was painting the room at that time. We went to select it and then I had to ask them to wait because I wanted to complete the painting before I put in nice carpeting. Actually, I didn?t want to trip anything on it while doing the ceiling. I gave them the order; they zipped in and finished it up so they were very responsive. I will give them A's all over the place because I have had a very good experience. They were also very professional, gave us good advice on the carpet and it's very lovely. I am very happy."

"My dog had gotten sick on our bedroom carpet about five years ago. Since I am retired, I decided I should clean my own carpets to save money. I had tried to get rid of the spot using any method and product known to mankind (well, at least anything that sounded reasonable). I did find one product that would pretty much remove the stain, but the stain would return within a month or less. I had used J&S several years ago before retiring and decided to try them again. I really didn't have much hope they could get rid of the stain since by now, it had been around a long time and through several do-it-yourself cleanings. But magically, the stain was removed by J&S. I have waited a little over a month to post this review fully expecting the stain to reappear, but it has not. How I wish I had called J&S when the dog first got sick and stained the carpet. I did not comment on price because I did not shop around and don't know what the going price for carpet cleaning is. However, for me, J&S was well worth what I paid."
