"We hired Robert (Jr.) because he was the first one to contact us. He came as scheduled and told us that we did not have to remove the sheet vinyl flooring or put down a concrete board subfloor, as my husband wanted to do. He said it was not necessary and that he had been doing this for 10 years and never had a problem. We believed him and he seemed so nice. He did work hard to put the herringbone pattern down, even though he had not done that before. It does look nice if you do not look too closely. He hurried the job because we were expecting a visitor. I appreciated that. But it showed in some of the places where he did not cut the tile large enough, like in front of the kitchen sink, and just filled in the space with grout. Looks terrible. Asked for tile under the stove. That did not happen either. But, after a few weeks, the grout started cracking and crumbling, as we feared. He also owes my husband $60 and we have been calling since October with no response. He moved to New Jersey so look out, people. Even his father phone number is no longer in service! Now what? Guess I will try the better business bureau but do not know what name he uses in New Jersey because he said he cannot use the same name. He should not be able to get away with this. Now I see that another customer has the same grout problem, the same month too. Is he using inferior products or does he just take the money and run? Our hearts are broken over this."

Our thoughts were that he had the experience so we usually went with his suggestions. Things we wanted he worked with us to give us what we wanted. He accommodated us when we made changes. Workers were here when they said they would be. They explained what they were doing and asked questions about what we wanted. They accommodated us when we wanted changes or didn't like the way something was. The workmanship was excellent. We had a problem with the wrong stove being ordered and several minor things that needed to be corrected or change. These things were done in a timely matter. We feel that the workers made sure we were satisfied with everything before they left."

Had a couple minor chips in the countertop which was to be expected as my job was large, their service department handled it right away , I was impressed. After doing such a good job on the countertops, I had them do the backsplash also. Same results, fast friendly service and excellent workmanship, plus was able to return most of what they did not use. I am now using for a bathroom vanity, I thought the job might be too small, but not at all, got the same friendly service"
