"I had a Clorox toilet scrub pad stuck in the toilet. I was concerned about the problem it may have caused. Nolan came out and look at the problem. He flushed the toilet a few times and apparently the scrub pad may have gone down the sewage. To be sure, he also used his endoscope to look at the outside sewage line to confirm the water is flowing smoothly. There was no charge for coming out for his evaluation. I really appreciate his honesty, rather than just trying to make a few bucks. Thank you."

"Joe Riley is just great.  He did some plumbing repair for me a number a months ago and I was so pleased that I specifically requested him again.  He's a great trouble shooter, and living in an 80 year old home, there tend to be problems that sometimes call for imaginative fixes.  The original pipes are sound but old and brittle, so it takes a careful touch in working with them.  The first job on today's list was an old, old valve in the basement that had a persistent drip.  To remove the valve, it would have entailed replacing a maze of piping because it was the original pipe, not copper, and there was no way to just get into the area that was the problem.  That would have been a very extensive and expensive job.  Joe came up with an alternative fix that entailed his making a custom piece that fit around the problem area and the dripping has stopped.  The second job was an outside faucet that suddenly wouldn't shut off completely and the shut off valve that served it wouldn't either.  I did a lot of bucket emptying before Joe arrived. Rather than doing the quick but more costly fix of replacing the whole faucets, he removed the handles, found that the washers were shot, and only had to replace the washer to make them fully functional again.  Again saving me money.  The third problem was an old toilet that had a balky handle, sometimes very difficult to operate; and unrelated, but in the same fixture, a fill problem with water barely coming back into the water closet and the "float" sometimes getting stuck and the water continuing to run.  Joe fixed them all and the guest bathroom is now guest friendly.  He accomplished all this in two hours; great work, great guy."

"I called Speedy Septic July 13, 2017 to schedule pumping of my septic tank. The earliest available time was August 2 between 8 and 9 am. As that date approached, the weather was very hot and I offered to have them arrive as early as possible on the scheduled day. They arrived promptly at 7 am. It required a minimal amount of digging to uncover the septic tank. In addition to the pumping equipment, they used their own hose and water during the process, although they did ask for a hose or at least a water spigot. I did not have running water outside at the time, as I had advised when I made the appointment. The crew of two was polite and efficient and discussed with me their findings about my tank and drain field and provided recommendations for the future."
