"At our request, Mr. Bergen preformed inspections of both chimneys on our 100+ year-old home. Inspection disclosed both were in need of demolition and rebuilding from below the roofline. We contracted the job to Mr. Bergen's company (Professional Chimney Services). The work as done in a most professional manner...Scaffolding was assembled and the chimneys were demolished and rebuilt from below the roofline to their previous height including new brick, mortar, liners and top caps. Mr. Bergen selected a brick which closely matched the original color preserving the appearance of the chimneys. Both chimneys were re-flashed and waterproofed and animal caps were installed. All construction equipment was removed and the area was thoroughly cleaned of all construction debris."

"Andy from Clifton Park Chimney performed an inspection of the fireplace chimney. He completed the inspection and identified there was no need to do a cleaning. He answered all questions and was a pleasure to deal with. He also performed an inspection of the outside chimney and provided tips on care and maintenance. As an added service, he inspected the dryer venting system, checking the air flow, to see if there were any problems (there were none). Andy was on time for the appointment, was very professional and provided good suggestions on maintenance. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone needing a chimney inspection. I cannot speak to actually cleaning the chimney as this work was not needed, but based on his thorough inspection I'm sure they would also do a thorough cleaning job if applicable. We were going to have our chimney cleaned, but there were so many structural issues inside from the original builder that he told us not to bother because it isn't safe to use. He provided us with several options to fix and repair it, along with spotting issues from a prior chimney company that we used to cap our chimney. "By far the best business experience I have had in a long time. Where to start, Paul the salesman was great, he came out for a quote no hassle. Looked at the roof and quoted me quickly. I told him I had another company I was comparing to and would get back to him. No pressure tactics. Communication was consistent and clear. Booked appointment and was able to have an install date within a week! Now fast forward to the install day. Kevin is the man (I assume foreman) was at the job 45 mins before his team was supposed to get there to go over everything with me. He explained what he would be doing and if anything throughout the day changed he would not only text/call but text pictures of everything. A few pieces of plywood needed to be replaced and Boom pictures came to my phone of where and the old pieces to see the damaged ones. He kept his word all the way to the point that i had a tree company coming to quote me on taking trees down and i received text messages from Kevin that they were there in the back quoting my other job. Lastly i had an old dish on the house which i requested to come off. Not only did they take the dish off and remove the wire but the Vines that were climbing up the lines one of his guys was ripping those out and off for me. All in all i can't say how impressed i am with this team. They truly went above and beyond and when you spend a good amount of money on companies to work at your home it can make you nervous on what type of outcome it will be. I have no doubts about this company and recommend if you ever need anything roof related to please contact them for your job. "Tom and his crew  (zack and E Jay) arrived in time , had all the supplies. ready and started  the job. <br>Once they were up there realized that there was extra work to be done replacing all the wood at top since it was rotten under the existing chase top. They replaced ,took pictures of the whole process as a prove and put the new stainless steal chase top based on what I wanted , the respected my opinion and answered my questions. <br>The chimney sweep was good the guys inside the house were careful and didn't leave any traces after they finish, great clean up and gave me tips on the upkeep since is a different system that the average chimney. <br>I am very happy with their service."

Also, the quote for the chimney repairs that were needed was almost twice what was quoted by to other highly rated masons. Based on this I subcontracted the masonry work to another company."

"It went well. We had to contact them to get scheduled even though the advertisement through Angie's list said they would get back to us by Thursday after we purchased the service. Then Angie's list contacted them. They got back to us by Friday. <br /> We were hoping the person would show up closer to 8 am since we needed to leave at 9:30. We had asked this 2 times to the person making the appointment and she made it sound as though the person would be there at 8am, but he did not get to us until a little before 9 am. We managed to get the entire appointment in, but we were rushed and ran late. We may use them in the future. We are still reviewing for other prices. They want $2,000+ to replace 14 layers of brick on our chimney. <br /> We ended up using them for the chimney repair. Frank came out and did the repair. The chimney work is beautiful. He repaired the bricks and replaced the inside flu at the top. He is very knowledgeable and very good at what he does. I would recommend working with Frank for sure.  We are thinking of looking at an insert and working with Frank. <br /> <br />"
