"The sales man did pressure us to buy on the first visit because the 20% off would expire that day! The sales guy had moved over from Champion Windows and was some what new to Anderson. He did call his manager to find out the procedure and cost to repair the mold damage. The estimated wait to do the work was 8 weeks. The install manager visited and measured about 4 weeks later and then two weeks later the install crew came out on Nov 11, 2017. The work was excellent and the weather cooperated this fall. Since we were home, the crew would invite us out to see different steps in the build such as the flashing and were careful with our floors, and furnature. The crew carefully cleaned up and explained the working of the windows. We had been told that the job did NOT include painting and my son and I were able to complete priming and painting in about a week of good weather!"

"PuroClean showed up and began immediately to dry the damage floors. They also worked with our insurance company helping them understand the damage caused by the leak in a very short time, like less than a week. They were professional and provided Value for the their work including drying the damp areas from below the floor and above removing the possibility of a mold issue."

What is a home Inspection? \nA home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential property (as delineated below), performed for a fee, which is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components defined by these Standards that are both observed and deemed material by the inspector. The scope of work may be modified by the Client and Inspector prior to the inspection process. \n \nI.The general home inspection is based on the observations made on the date of the inspection, and not a prediction of future conditions. \n \n \nII.The general home inspection will not reveal every issue that exists or ever could exist, but only those material defects observed on the date of the inspection. \n \nAreas inspected in a general home inspection: \n1. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet me until after you hire me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods and yes, different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work, a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector's own effort. If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your new home, I guarantee that I will give you my very best effort. This I promise you. \n \nSincerely, \n \nBill Allen \nTop To Bottom Real Estate Inspections \nColumbus, NE 68601 \nNational Association of Ceretified Home Inspectors (NACHI) Certification#: 10091101 \nhttp://www.nachi.org \nHome Inspectors of America and Home Inspectors of Nebraska Certification#: 2700818 \nwww.homeinspectorsofnebraska.com \n \nInspected once, Inspected right! ® \n \nCall me to schedule you inspection 402-910-7424

FAQs for mold & toxic material test projects in Scottsbluff, NE

Some companies offer a no‑cost phone or video consultation that screens for red flags. If the discussion points to a real issue, the pro will recommend a paid on‑site inspection. The complimentary call clarifies whether you need full testing, but it isn’t a substitute for samples, lab work, or a written report. Always confirm what the free service covers before you schedule.

A standard inspection, which includes basic air and surface samples, takes an average of two hours. If the pro needs to probe hidden spaces, such as wall cavities or ductwork, plan on up to six hours. Extra time allows the inspector to reach tight areas, collect additional samples, and document findings. Lab analysis is a separate process and often adds several business days to the overall timeframe before you receive the full report.

Mold thrives where moisture lingers and air flow is poor. Common hotspots include bathroom walls, kitchen backsplashes, window sills, HVAC vents, fireplaces, crawl spaces, and enclosed attics. Check these areas regularly—especially after leaks or high‑humidity weather—to catch growth early and avoid costly repairs.

Unchecked mold can knock 20% to 37% off a home’s market value because buyers worry about hidden damage and health risks. Even after remediation, visible staining or a history of major moisture issues can still lower offers and prolong the time on the market. Addressing mold quickly protects both your property’s structural integrity and its resale appeal.
