He was accommodating for my schedule, and the poison ivy was no longer a problem. It was getting on my dogs, and then onto me, so I knew the problem was solved when it stopped getting on me. There was a delay in getting the deck built just because he was backed up with work over the summer, but he told me that right up front. He then contacted me when he had time coming available, and the work was done exactly when he said it would be, and right on budget."

We called for an estimate and received a quote in a flash. They put us on the waiting list and took a $500 deposit. We waited several weeks to get the job done. I don't blame Coastal, they just had a lot of jobs and we had to wait our turn. <br /> <br />When the work was done it looked nice. However, when I started to look closely I noticed several spots that were not weeded, just covered with straw. The expense was supposed to come from labor because they expected to have to hand weed. They were also supposed to spray a chemical barrier to help prevent weed growth. Less than two weeks after the job I'm picking and spraying myself. <br />I guess I could call and complain and I'm sure they would come back out. However, I like to get dirty and don't really mind cleaning the few areas left behind. <br /> <br />I was at work the day of the clean up, which didn't give me a chance to chat with the crew and do an inspection when finished. I would suggest anyone contracting any sort if work make themselves available to inspect the work as it is bing completed. <br />"
