"Went very well. Responded the same day we called and after skillfully identifying the issue he got the system running again in short order. Noah was not the first person to work on this system and he made note of the previous patch jobs. As part of the repair of the one zone he ran a completely new cable, rewiring each zone, eliminating all the old patches. This was all done quickly and efficiently, the entire job was complete in the time others had taken to just do a patch. Highly recommend."

"I'm very happy. I had a couple of spots that were kind of not showing really good they were almost grey. Someone came out to look at it and by that weekend a guy was there laying sod. I think I've had them for 6 years."

"The experience has been excellent.  They arrived on the day of installation with multiple truckloads of plant material.  They cleaned and prepped the site for planting and finished the bulk of it in a day.  They then set up the irrigation zones and timers and we were off and running.  The team was thorough, prompt, and courteous.  The follow-up maintenance has also been timely, and Gregg is incredibly responsive.  We are so pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Gregg Daniel and his team."

"Good job performed on the initial clean up once it was scheduled (two missed appointments to get an estimate). The bi-weekly follow up maintenance took over a month to get done since they failed to put it on their schedule. After several phone calls it was finally resolved but overall a good job."

"Work for poison ivy was very punctual, and he met me on the weekend, since that is the only time I'm in the mountains. He was accommodating for my schedule, and the poison ivy was no longer a problem. It was getting on my dogs, and then onto me, so I knew the problem was solved when it stopped getting on me. There was a delay in getting the deck built just because he was backed up with work over the summer, but he told me that right up front. He then contacted me when he had time coming available, and the work was done exactly when he said it would be, and right on budget."

"We recently purchased a home and needed the landscaping cleaned and fleshed up. Coastal had a good reputation and we always see them in the neighborhood. We called for an estimate and received a quote in a flash. They put us on the waiting list and took a $500 deposit. We waited several weeks to get the job done. I don't blame Coastal, they just had a lot of jobs and we had to wait our turn. <br /> <br />When the work was done it looked nice. However, when I started to look closely I noticed several spots that were not weeded, just covered with straw. The expense was supposed to come from labor because they expected to have to hand weed. They were also supposed to spray a chemical barrier to help prevent weed growth. Less than two weeks after the job I'm picking and spraying myself. <br />I guess I could call and complain and I'm sure they would come back out. However, I like to get dirty and don't really mind cleaning the few areas left behind. <br /> <br />I was at work the day of the clean up, which didn't give me a chance to chat with the crew and do an inspection when finished. I would suggest anyone contracting any sort if work make themselves available to inspect the work as it is bing completed. <br />"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Sea-island, GA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
