They renovated the entire upper floor of our house. They installed new laminate flooring and painted our walls, doors, and baseboards. "DE Flooring has been our go to general contractor for 3 separate projects in the past 15 years. 1st project was to replace all the kitchen countertops/bars & niches’ ledges with a beautiful veined high end granite. 2nd was a shower enlargement and installation gorgeous slab marble to the shower, separate tub surround and double vanity. The scope of the work also included to close up a wall and add an arched built in to our master bedroom. All the work was superior quality, it became even more apparent when after an unpreventable illness this awesome shower had to be replace to accommodate a zero entrance ledge and a wheelchair entry, hence another complete remodel. In the process of this 3rd project remodel it was easy to see behind all the walls and 10 years later not a drop of water had leaked or penetrated the original install. It was so tight it was difficult to take it down. I am confident this second remodel of the bathroom will be just as well done as the first. We also chose to replace the master suite carpeting which gives quite an uplift to the rooms. The owner comes by and double checks on the progress daily, instructs his crews and speaks to us. He never has dismissed our inquiries no matter what adversity could be lurking in his personal life. His subs are all professional, friendly and extremely respectful at all times. This is also a reflection of the leadership. You cannot go wrong by engaging this company to do your construction. If a mistake happens it will be rectified immediately with no argument as well. "Tile floors look fantastic! They look like new to me. Mark did a great job explaining what the work would entail and spent a lot of time with me during the initial estimate. There was good communication throughout and fantastic results. The granite counters also looked great, but were not as bad off as the floors, so not as dramatic a difference. The technician who came to our home (sorry, I forgot his name) was very professional. Would definitely hire this company again."

"Preface.. the wife wanted new counters but didn't want to be without  sinks, so to save the marriage, I asked Roberto if he could coordinate my project in 2 phases, downstairs and up.

Roberto fabricated all countertops at his plant. While this was going on I had the downstairs bathrooms and bar demolished and had new cabinets built and installed. When the downstairs cabinets were completed, Roberto's crew delivered all counters and completed the downstairs installation of the 3 single countertops and the Bar. (They stored the double sink on site for subsequent installation)

I had the upstairs bath cabinets and counters demolished, had the cabinets built and installed, and about 2 weeks  later Roberto's crew returned to install the upstairs double sink.

His crew was very professional, clean, and took less than a day for each portion of the project. I am still happily married!

   We started our remodel last year before Thanksgiving. They remodeled the guest bathroom and completed by Thanksgiving. It was done well. After Thanksgiving the Kitchen was completely renovated, the wood laminate flooring put in the living and bedrooms (except master), tile in kitchen and entry and this was completed a couple days before Christmas! They did an awesome job on a good timeline! Last was the master bedroom after the new year. We didn't start this until May due to family illness. They did a good job on the master bath and bedroom, which consisted of getting rid of the bathtub and installing a nice shower, new vanity, flooring and paint.

Pro's: Price very reasonable. Timeline was usually very good, with minimal scheduling problems. Bassam (head guy on our job) made things right when they went wrong!

Con's: You have to constantly remind some of the contractors to keep the doors closed when possible and protect and clean up after themselves. They don't pay attention to detail very much, so you have to constantly check them.

Overall they did a good job and we would use them again in the future.

"I reached out to multiple contractors to evaluate and propose a solution for a complex structural problem related to my garage. Specifically, a main structural beam on my covered patio was not properly secured to the structure of the garage. Poor workmanship by a previous contractor had led to leaks in the roof above the beam resulting in rot of the wood framing underneath which eventually led to the failure of the connection between the beam and the framing members in the garage. The beam dropped several inches and damaged the siding and trim on the garage. I called Kephart Handyman after reading their reviews on Angie's List. Barry promptly replied to my inquiry and came to my home to evaluate the problem. After taking some pictures he came back to me quickly with a proposal. There was some uncertainty on what would actually need to be done depending on what his team found when they removed some of the damaged wood. In the end, Barry's team removed and replaced all of the damaged structural framing, roof decking and shingles and added a new support column for the beam. They wrapped the beam to match others on our patio. The quality of their workmanship was very good and the team cleaned up as they did their work. In the end, the job took five days instead of the quoted three days and involved unplanned removal and repair of drywall inside the garage. Barry stood by his estimate and did not charge extra for the added time it took to make the repairs. Overall, I was very satisfied with their work and their ability to find a solution to this complex repair. I would definitely hire Kephart Handyman again and would recommend them to others looking for a professional handyman service. David in Katy"
