"We hired Roads Paving to replace our aging, 1200 square foot asphalt driveway. Their bid was lower than a competitor. The driveway is tightly compacted, smooth, and looks great. The work only took around 4 hours from start to finish, including removing the existing asphalt and sub-base. Norm, his crew, and office staff were extremely courteous and helpful throughout the entire process."

"The team is very professional and efficient . Job was well done. I saw them did the drive way for my neighbor last year with very high quality, so I reached out to them to help me pave my driveway. My wife and I are super happy with the work and definitely recommend them for anyone looking for something similar."

"I didn't hire them - their minimum charge was $1000. The person I spoke to agreed that was too much for the work to be done, but it was their minimum. I received two other quotes from companies closer to where I live - both were for $550 to square up the irregular hole, cover with asphalt and oil the edge (both required that the actual hole be filled in, which it was). <br />"

"Bruce and all of his people were outstanding to work with. Everyone was very courteous, friendly and hard working. Every question I asked about the installation was completely answered. Since my garage elevation is lower than the street, a trench drain was recommended to be installed in order to divert the water from the doors. This was not suggested by any other contractors for the job but this is the best way to handle the runoff water. They installed a quality trench drain along with a drainage pipe routed to a location that I selected. Along each step everyone paid close attention to detail and made sure things were done right including grading, backfill, compaction, asphalt placement, final compaction and seal coating. After each day the entire area was thoroughly cleaned of any debris. Bruce is a true craftsman of his trade and I would highly recommend his company to anyone. I am very pleased with my new driveway and have had numerous compliments."

"I was on the fence about concrete vs paved stone, since paving is more expensive. I got at least 5 bids and they were all over the map. But Cary was very clear and thorough sharing the Proposal, and patient when I asked a lot of questions. That's why I chose CD Paver Management. Once it was done I have to say this was some of the best Contractor work I've ever hired! Cary and the Team did superb work, powering right through some very rainy days to get the paved driveway done on time. A Change Order was done easily with no hassle. And they built exactly what I wanted. I HIGHLY recommend them and would hire them again!"

"I contacted few companies to get bids on the driveway, for our new house in North Bend. Acme came in with a reasonable quote compared to few others. Sunny was up front with scope of work great communication and kept us in formed on the scheduling. When they arrived to start the work they went right to work with out wasting anytime. They prepared the driveway with gravel and finished with asphalt. They completed the job in 3 days start to finish. Did a excellent job I am fully satisfied with there work and would highly recommend these folks to anyone."

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Seahurst, WA

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
