"I got their name from a friend who was very happy with their kitchen remodel. I hired them to remodel a rental home. They ripped out the entire kitchen, removed two sliders and closed the opening and added large windows, replaced the entire floor throughout the house, remodeled the 2 bathrooms and fixed a leak in the roof that turned out to be a bigger fix than a quick patch. I was very happy with the entire job. David handled everything and was very communicative throughout the entire project. I travel a large amount for work and my biggest concern was to have to be involved in the project. Besides going to that has to check on the process the took care of the entire thing including receiving all of the new appliances. If you want a stress free , great job I would hire them in a heart beat."

"After my first contractor failed to finish my master bedroom and bathroom renovation. I began looking for someone new to complete the job. I ultimately selected Creative Home Remodeling Group (CHRG) from several contenders because Dave’s suggestions and proposal fit my timeline and needs perfectly. The renovation team exceeded my expectations delivering the beautiful bathroom, I had envisioned. Please with their work, I hired CHRG again for my guest bathroom remodel. every phase of this project from demolition to final cleanup was executed with excellence. I also decided to replace windows throughout my home and was very satisfied with the results. Choosing CHRG was the best decision I made. My next project will be renovating my kitchen with CHRG in a few years and I’m certain I will hire them once more. Thank you CHRG team!!!"

"Jacques was great to work with and his knowledge and workmanship was excellent. He showed us various cabinet door catalogs to help with our decision, and he was totally willing to custom-mix the wood stain color we had in mind. His sub-contractors (plumbing, electrical, drywall, tile) were all very professional and clean and all had been working with Jacques for 10-15 years each. As for the budget, we had a dollar amount in mind, and his was in the right neighborhood. There were several add-ons we requested after the work began, which he accommodated without issue. Jacques responded to calls or texts very promptly. We were told each bathroom would take 5-7 weeks, and for the most part, that was true. There were minor delays here and there, and we did start the work late in the year near the holidays, but it all worked out fine. Like any job, especially on an old house, there are unforeseen costs that will come up which will take you over budget. This cannot be blamed on anyone. My only complaint would be that he could have communicated a little better on dates and times when workers would be showing up. We frequently found out the night before what would be happening the next day. But the end product was excellent and we are extremely happy. We will definitely hire C&M again for future remodeling projects. Description of work: Remodel guest bathroom: Remove vanity and toilet. Keep existing cast-iron tub. Total cost: $20000 Remodel master bathroom: Remove double-sink vanity and toilet. Completely remove 3ft x 3ft shower stall, curb, and shower pan. Bump out one wall of the shower stall to allow for a bench. Raise ceiling in shower stall to match the rest of the bathroom ceiling. Build new custom double-sink vanity. "We're 95% done and I'm very happy with the results. Some of the fixtures that I ordered are back ordered, otherwise we'd most likely be finished. But every step of the way, both America and Jim have been very professional and helpful. I've come to trust them and appreciate their suggestions! They've communicated well with me and have been flexible enough to occasionally work around my schedule. I will be doing more remodeling in the next couple of years and will definitely be calling them to do more work for me!"

"I had a long ongoing problem with my bathroom where the shower area kept causing water damage and the layout felt outdated and cramped. I contacted American Home Improvement after the issue started affecting the nearby wall. Their team inspected everything carefully and explained what caused the problem before starting the bathroom remodeling work. They repaired the damaged sections, improved the drainage, and remodeled the space so it feels open and clean. The crew stayed friendly, showed up as scheduled, and kept the area neat and clean throughout the job. The problem is fully fixed now and the bathroom looks great. I am happy with the results and I strongly recommend American Home Improvement to anyone facing bathroom remodeling issues."

"I hired Kyle for a $14,000 home remodeling project based on reviews from Angie's List and Yelp, and overall, I am satisfied with the work Kyle and his team performed and I feel like I got my money's worth. Below are my thoughts: 1. Timeliness: Kyle's crew showed up on time every day and stuck to the schedule. The entire project stayed mostly on track. Things were slightly delayed due to city inspection, but that was a factor beyond Kyle's control. So definitely an A there. 2. Quality of work - I had three major projects in this remodeling, and below are my thoughts on them: a. Conversion of a bedroom into a mudroom/entry room to garage: For some reason this new house I bought did not have an access door from garage directly into the house, so I hired Kyle to remedy this by turning a bedroom that shares a common wall with the garage into a mud room with an access door. Job involved cutting the wall open and installing a fire rated entry door, as well as removing old wall paper and repainting the room. This job was done very well and definitely an A there. b. Bathroom remodeling: I also had Kyle remove an old bathtub & tile surround and replace it with a new jacuzzi tub, new tiles and an updated tub door. We also had the toilet repositioned as well. Final quality of work was very nicely done and we were very pleased with how the new tiles turned out. Regrettably, the new bath tub got a small 1" size scratch on one of the rim and I had to touch up paint it afterwards. So A-/B+ there due to my new tub getting scratched up during tile installation. c. House electrical upgrade: I had Kyle and his crew installing an 100 amp subpanel with 2x 50 amp outlets in the garage for EV charging. I also had multiple new outlets installed throughout the house. All the newly installed outlets worked very well and I am pleased with the results. However, after all the electrical work were done, three of my outlets in the house lost power due to a "open neutral". To make a long story short, Kyle's crew tried to trouble shoot it for the better part of a day but couldn't figure out what caused it. All the worker could say is that he doesn't think it was caused by their work. As this happened at the very end of the entire remodeling project and I was uncertain whose fault it was, I ended up just letting it go. Subsequently I did more troubleshooting on my own and after several hours of trial-and-error testing using a multimeter, I found a loose neutral wire in a bathroom switch box Kyle's crew worked on. The loose neutral wire was covered up by a bunch of other wire and wire nuts in the switch box. Once that wire was reconnected, the three dead outlets became functional again. My guess is that the wire got shaken loose when Kyle's crew swap out the switches in that box with new light and fan switches, and no one realized it because that wire was buried behind other wires. I can understand how Kyle's worker missed it while trying to trouble shoot this issue. However, I'm still a bit miffed that I end up having to fix this problem myself. Thus, while the newly installed outlets are great, I am not too thrilled with the fact that his worker knocked a wire loose while changing out bathroom switches and couldn't fix the problem. So on this part of the project, I would give Kyle's team an A on the new outlets and C for causing collateral damage on my other outlets that I had to fix myself. 3. Conclusion - other than the problems with the loose neutral wire and the scratch to the new tub noted above, everything else went smoothly. Thus, in light of the scope of this remodeling project, I decided that these two issues are minor and don't detract too much from the overall success. Thus, I ended up giving Kyle and his crew an A- overall."

"They listened to our desires to remodel two bathrooms, then proceeded to suggest the best of materials. Workers started later than expected, however they worked later, and work was excellent. All men were extremely courteous, and cleaned up each day. In all, the finished product was top quality. Everyone who has viewed the jobs has been blown away. A company you could trust completely. R. FAQs for bathroom remodel projects in Seal Beach, CA

You can buy a replacement vanity by selecting a pre-made unit with an integrated sink from a local home improvement supplier. Pre-made vanities are designed for easy installation and compatibility with your existing plumbing. If a ready-made option doesn't meet your needs, consider hiring a custom builder to create a vanity that fits your space and style.

You can purchase a bathroom vanity from major home improvement retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s or online stores like Wayfair, which offer a variety of pre-made vanities. Visiting local showrooms and bathroom supply stores can also provide professional advice and help you choose the right vanity for your space.

Installing your bathroom vanity flush against the wall enhances stability and prevents shifting. This placement also eliminates hard-to-clean gaps and keeps your vanity securely in place. Building codes often require a minimum clearance of four inches from bathtubs and at least 21 inches of free space in front of the sink for accessibility and safety.

You can upgrade a single vanity to a double vanity by installing additional cabinets, a second sink, and matching fixtures. This process requires additional plumbing adjustments, countertop modifications, and careful alignment to ensure both sinks function correctly. Upgrading to a double vanity enhances bathroom functionality and offers more space, which is especially beneficial for shared bathrooms.

The best vanity top material depends on your budget, style preferences, and maintenance willingness. Materials like quartz or solid surfaces are excellent choices for durability and low maintenance. If you're on a tighter budget, laminate is affordable but less durable. Consider how much traffic your bathroom gets and choose a material that balances cost, appearance, and upkeep.

Installing a bathroom vanity takes between three and six hours. Simple installations may be completed in under three hours, while more complex projects requiring adjustments or plumbing modifications can take up to six hours or more. The installation process includes assembling cabinets, placing the countertop, installing the sink if necessary, and connecting plumbing.
