Painting was smooth without thin spots or drips, runs, etc. They started on time and finished quickly on schedule. They left the house clean."

"<p>I was given "the big sales spiel" and he required payment <strong>before</strong> he began the job. He took no measurements, but charged me for cleaning 1200 sq. ft. of wall-to-wall carpet in an 1800 sq.ft. house. In fact he only cleaned the center of the rooms and around furniture, never moving anything. There is a California King sized bed in the main bedroom that takes up most of the room. Only the perimeter was cleaned. I later discovered an area next to the end of the sofa that was literally black from a spill. It hadn't been touched. He claimed the job would "be perfect".</p> <blockquote> <p> He claimed that he would "do the baseboards" (whatever that means) which he couldn't have done without moving the sofa out. He said he would clean the window and door tracks. Didn't. He talked about a "complementary car wash", but nothing materialized. Although he used a fan for a short while, it still took overnight to dry. The most shocking to me was the price, and the fact that I paid it. The most I have ever paid, and for better jobs, was $300. I can only advise others to get other estimates before committing.</p> </blockquote>"

"Steve Vaden has been our contractor for several projects. This time he replaced very old siding on a side of our home that faces weather/sun, and repaired some issues underneath. He also replaced and trimmed out all new windows on that side, including paint. He also made repairs to the staircase leading up to the upper level, and painted everything -- trim, siding, etc., beautifully. He is always very professional, timely and courteous. "The company was very good and the workers polite and thorough. We had only two issues. They indicated the used a powerful magnet to clean up any roofing nails that may have landed on our surrounding landscape. They did so but we continue to find nails on occasion. The re-roofing exposed a section of wood fascia which was not painted (not painted). This was not brought to our attention until two years later when a pest inspection noted the lack of sealing was an invitation to burrowing pests. <br />"
