"RetroFoam of Michigan deserves more than five stars. The representative who gave me an estimate was prompt and professional. The office staff who called to tell me installers were ahead of schedule was kind and courteous as I answered during a busy day at work. The crew who came to insulate my garage was extraordinary. They made sure my garage was left clean. They even mopped the garage floor before they left! The crew leader explained the process of insulating with foam and exactly how the holes in my walls would be patched before the team left. I am an educator of 30 years and a licensed builder. I've remodeled and flipped homes and have rental units. I'm used to swinging a hammer alongside others. This company is made up of hard-working people who charge a fair price and do exceptional work. I have advice for those that run the company - take care of your installation crews! They are exceptional! "Contacted Master Attic via Angi and Alex, the technician came to evaluate our attic and crawl space (2 separate spaces in our house). We heard critter noises and our upstairs was hot in the summer. The insulation was original to the ~30 year old house, so we know it's about time to get it done. Alex checked both spaces and showed us photos of problem areas. We have an estimate and Alex explained the details of the work involved. The team came within the week (we lucked out to take the spot of a cancellation), and everything was done as expected. There was a lot of work to remove old insulations, vacuum all debris, sanitize the space, seal all air gaps, install baffles, rodent proof, and install new insulation. The work was completed in around 6 hours, the spaces are now clean and tidy - quite unbelievable given how they were before. We went for the heavier insulation which is reflected in the project cost."

"I did recieve 2 companies estimates for the insulation project. There were 3 responses but my timeline was short. Originally was thinking spray foam but wanted comparison to traditional fiberglass and blown in as well to make an educated product benefits and cost choice. I selected traditional insulation over spray to accomplish a 38%R factor of insulation for the house, that had no insulation in attic or crawl space, which turned out to be correct choice within my price range. Koala was fast response professional and performed a complete envelope of insulation to the house in 6 hours neat work, cleaned up, and very personable staff! I have noticed a huge difference with outside sound transmission, uniform heat within the house, reduced heat pump run time and needed to lower required temperature by 2 degrees to maintain comfortable living area temperature and humidity levels. "I have to apologize. I thought I reviewed Alligood shortly after the work was done in mid 2015, but apparently messed-up. Jeff Alligood was a pleasure to work with...responsive, professional, and very willing to go the extra mile to help solve our problems. We had squirrels in the attic that trashed the insulation. We scheduled a new roof which included sealing up all the areas where the critters could get in. But then we had to deal with the unhealthy rodent mess. I called over a dozen insulation companies and none were willing to REMOVE insulation. Then I got hold of Jeff thru Angie's List. Not only did they remove all the old, but they also agreed to sanitize both attics. I purchased Odoban from Home Depot which eliminates mold and odors (highly recommended). Jeff's crew sprayed everything and then installed the ducts and insulation. Jeff coordinated the removal and installation to coincide with the roofers so that access could be thru the roof ( which was the only way to access the attic). It all went like clockwork, His team stayed late (7PM+) to insure all was done and the roof sealed up for the night. Before they left they cleaned up so there was no sign they had been working on the house the entire day. Everything was 'All (i) Good' !!! I highly recommend Alligood Energy...!"
