He explained the differences in carpet construction and materials and left some samples so that I could see them in different lighting and times of the day to help my decision-making. Once the decision was made, he quoted a reasonable price, including pad and installation. From the time I ordered, it took the 2-3 weeks for delivery, as predicted. Installers arrived promptly and completed the job perfectly. Phone calls to the office were answered by a real person (!) and all inquiries were answered. The floors look and feel great!"

"Took the carpet ourselves to save drop off cost. They were considerate and asked good questions about what had been used/done already. Carpet was finished fairly quickly and we weren't 'pestered' to pick it up (which wasn't important , since we wanted to make sure our second cat was not going to follow in her sister's bad habits before putting it back down). These were, he felt, knots that had either surfaced or had been stripped of their cosmetic cover-up dyes during cleaning. Without additional charge, he said he/they could apply some spot dye so that these once again weren't noticeable. When we arrived on Saturday to pick up the rug (I'd called to ask and had been told it would be finished then) it wasn't quite ready so Charles kindly agreed to deliver it later that same afternoon, which he promptly did. How can you be upset about this desire to make what could have been an 'oops' situation right? The carpet is now good-as-new visually and, as promised, although you will always have a very very faint idea of where soiling occurred (cat **** is forever), it is as good as we could ever have hoped for. Further, considering the fragility of the dyes, the fact that oriental trim is easily ruined by anyone who doesn't know what they are doing, etc. we would HIGHLY recommend Carillon for anyone with costly Oriental area carpets who finds themselves in need of cleaning, regardless of whether it is pet-related or not. They're not cheap, but considering the original cost of a fine carpet, that peace of mind is worth it."
