"I called Monday morning to advise the problem and check their availability. They were able to inspect. The appointment was set. Richard and quot;Richieand quot; arrived to see the unit that had been turned off for one day. It still had ice in it. He did various test on it. It was determined the defrost board was bad. He call the shop for the part. They did not have it in stock. Ask Richie the approximate cost of part. He advised the part on another job was $80 something. Said fine and he advised they should be about to get it later today. Richie called back after lunch to advise he had the part. Scheduled another appointment. Richie was running a few minutes later than expected. He did leave me a message to advise. When he arrived, he ask if I got the message. I advised yes. I understand and appreciate his calling to advise. He replaced the board. Cleaned the unit since it still had ice in it. The unit was up running. Ask if he should check the refrigerant. He stated there was not a need since the defrost board was the issue. I appreciate the fact they could get to me so fast. If not, I would of cut the water off since the temperature was going to be in the teens. Because of the service provided, I ask for a quote on another issue at our main residence. Landle came out to inspect. He stated he would prepare an estimate and follow up with me on Thursday. I did not hear back from him on Thursday. I guess I will call him. <br />"

"I had a broken refrigerator water line and the shut off valve failed, so I had to shut off water to most off my house. I went to Angie's list for plumbers and I placed a call to two plumbers including Michael's. Michael's got back to me within a half an hour and were at my house about an hour or so after the call back. The work looks good and the price of the fix seemed reasonable, although my experience with plumbing prices is minimal. "On Jan 1, 2014 (Wed) we had water gushing through the wall of the basement at the water line's entrance. We called and left a message. Mon. AM they returned the call and sent someone to look at it around 11:30 AM. They were unable or unwilling to repair the situation at that time. The following day had a large snowstorm forecast, so they said they would return on Sat. the 4th. Sat the 4th they called and said the backhoe wouldn't start, so they scheduled for Mon. Since I didn't know if their backhoe wold start then, I started calling friends. They showed up Sun at 9 AM and repaired the leaking pipe. I sent mid-hudson pump the bill , but haven't heard from them yet. I would really like the 55+ yr old pipe replaced from the casing all the way into the basement. I can't believe they hooked up a new pump and line to 55+ yr old one. <br /> <br /> <strong>Mea Culpa ! I heard from Mid Hudson pump today! They have offered to come in the spring and replace the line at no cost to me. So I am taking back everything I said about them until after it's finally resolved. There was bithing in my report that was untrue, but the resolution they proposed is exactly what I had hoped for. I am very pleasantly surprised that they are doing this. They most certianly are a very reputable company.</strong>"
