However, I was told in advance that it would happen & that they did not do that repair. The work they did to my house fixed the dropped corner of the house , placed level markers & sealed the large crack so it is barely noticeable. They worked quickly & efficiently & pleasantly. "I would like to first and foremost say that I have never worked with a company that has as much integrity as ASF. The storage area under our front porch had developed some mold on the underside of the subfloor due to condensation. For the past week I had been up practically all-night watching DIY remediation videos on how to alleviate the mold. It had gotten to the point that I was literally exhausted with planning out the process and contemplating all of the what-ifs. I decided to contact one of the most well known remediation companies and they scheduled an appointment for a few days later. They requested that I take photos of the problem area and I immediately did so and sent them to them. I assumed that the photos would be used to brief them on what they would be addressing but to our surprise we received a remediation estimate shortly afterwards. We were shocked because the estimate also had a square footage estimate. The photos were only of the mold and did not include the entire space, which I must add was much smaller than their estimate. After discussing our mistrust of the company, my wife decided to do a google search for a more reputable company. That is when she came across AFS, and I thank GOD that she did. She quickly noticed that one of the inspectors named Wade Siler had a lot of great reviews. She called to schedule and appointment and requested Wade specifically. After she showed me some of his reviews I have a gut feeling that he would be different and that he was the one we could trust. He briefed us on when he would arrive and followed up as well. Needless to say, he arrived EXACTLY on time and appeared to be well organized. What blew us away is that rather than spewing out a bunch of fear mongering words about mold and going straight to the problem area , he instead spoke with outside and addressed all of our concerns before ever laying eyes on the mold. He literally calmed every fear that we had. Due to my overactive thinking, I had convinced myself that the wall by the front door had mold in the wall. He pulled out his trusty moisture meter and showed us that the levels were just fine. He also brought comfort to the fact that we were doing the right thing by running the dehumidifiers. I also learned that I had the settings too low on the dehumidifiers and that was the reason that they never stopped running. After addressing every issue that we had and I mean every, we finally showed him the problem area under the stairs. To our surprise, he swiped the areas that we were absolutely terrified of and turned to us with the biggest smile and said that the mold was not active and his fingers were completely dry. I was literally about in tears. Itâ s like the weight of the world was lifted off of my shoulders. We were soooo relieved. He also informed us that we could also rest assured that the storage area was staying dry because the pine wood shims that were used for the stairs were all still completely dry and solid. I could literally go on and on about the service that Wade Siler gave but to sum it up I would simply say I truly believe in my heart that there is no better company to go with when it comes to mold remediation or foundation issues. It is extremely rare to find a company that doesnâ t place profits over people. We have personally dealt with companies that will charge customers astronomical prices when it comes to mold because they know that the customer is fearful of the mold. This was simply not the case and we are so thankful to have found AFS and especially Wade Siler. So please, please, please do yourself a huge favor, if youâ re dealing with mold or foundation issues, you donâ t have to live in fear nor succumb to a self serving company that will exploit that fear. Give AFS a call and allow them to give you the plain facts and permanent solutions to your home issues. Wade not only calmed our fears, he also empowered us to move forward."

We are pleased with the work he did and the level of service he provided! The weather did not allow him to finish the job to his satisfaction. So, he returned a few weeks later when the weather was forecast to be dry for the day to seal the cracks and cover them with sand. Not only was the end result aesthetically-pleasing, it is sealed now to protect from any water getting underneath the concrete slabs in the future.
