"Ron originally was going to do more extensive remodeling in a home that I ended up not purchasing. Instead he agreed to do some minor work in my new home. He is honest, reliable, and thorough. I would hire him in an instant for a larger job. <br />"

"It was like we were old time friends when he entered my home. He even visited with my birds and took a picture of one of them. The work he did for me was impeccable, and even redid the mirror placement when I saw it was a little too high. There was not a single sign of any debris left at the sights at which he worked. He cleaned everything up. You would never have known anything was done in any of the areas he worked. Handy Man Dan should be listed as DANDY Man Dan. He is definitely MORE then a FIVE STAR Provider! I would highly recommend him to anyone. <br />"

"This is our second time working with Corey. It was a wonderful experience to work with a contractor that takes pride in his workmanship. Corey had the the wood stained to match our new cabinets and he built a custom front to the bar, it turned out great!  We will use him again to remodel our bathroom. The overall experience was excellent and it easy to work with Cory. He was always cheerful, helpful and courteous and if he was running late he always called. Thanks Corey!"

"Everything went extremely well. Kris made suggestions which we incorporated to save time and therefore keep the cost estimate as low as possible. I was very pleased to find the staff at Menard's think of Kris as a top contractor (which I now also think he is) . Because I had a contractor, there were no delivery charges for the materials kit, so I suggest others work with a contractor if possible. <br /> From my basic siting of the garage, Kris set up the basics of the grade changes and Brian Niemi verified the lines and did excavation, grading, and fill for the concrete work. In 3 days the concrete was completed, including our names, the date, and our dog's paw prints. Two weeks later, after allowing the concrete to cure, Kris and his crew of Leroy and Chris, started construction. In 3 days, Johnson Construction was done and paid. I admit it took me a lot longer to finish the project by doing the wiring and installing the siding! <br /> Kris is a rather quiet guy; Leroy is more outgoing, and Chris is REALLY quiet! But they are really great - fast, efficient, and very skilled. I give Johnson Construction an absolute top rating. They far exceed my expectations and l unequivocally recommend them! <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Sheboygan, WI

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
