"SG&A's owner (Mike) bid the work.  We ended up selecting his firm primarily due to their experience and design capability (they were able to "show" us what the gate design would look like with a simulated "picture" prior to any work being performed).  SG&A fabricated the gate based upon the agreed design.  We also had Mike orchestrate all the rural King County permits, cable/power line markings, electrical contractors, and trench digging (for electrical conduit supply) to the electrical supply junction.  Duke and David were his primary employees and appeared to be diligent in their work. <br> <br>The completed gate was installed late April (about a 3 month process) and is working well.  They include a one year maintenance plan and will be out in six months for a service call to ensure all parts, components, and operational aspects are in strong working order. <br> <br>While SG&A was the most expensive bid, I definitely believe we got a high quality gate that will last for many years.  We strongly recommend SG&A for your security gate needs."

"They did an excellent job on both the repair and the replacement of our garage door opener.  The repair went well (very responsive and came out the next day after I called).  The garage door opener replacement took about 2 hours and all is well so far.  I may add that they were late for both appointments so take this into consideration when you use them.  Perhaps they should add more time between jobs and call if they think they will be late.  We plan to use them again for annual maintenance. <br />"

"They are more for just painting. If you need the carpentry work done, there's a separate person. It was more than the other bid. They seemed disconnected. They do painting primarily. If you need carpentry and siding that I needed, they have a second person who bids that separately. You basically have 2 contractors for one job. I didn't want to do that. There was just no reason to go with them. It was such a brief thing. It was not very long at all. I gave them an idea of what and they walked around. They were here 10 or 15 minutes. I got email bids back from them. They were good. They knew what they were talking about. It was 2 separate appointments. It was 2 separate bids and I kind of had to put them together. It was not an easy job. They do a lot of painting in my little town. The painting guy was out within 2 or 3 days. The siding guy wasn't a JC Painting employee. It took longer for him to come out but only because they get real busy here as soon as the weather breaks. He knew what he was talking about. I just didn't want to deal with 2 different contractors. They were knowledgeable. They knew the painting side of what I needed completely."
