"I was on the market for a security system and this one seemed easy enough to install.......went through the process and some of the window sensors were not working. I called Customer Support who was very friendly and we went through the entire process again...this time other window sensors did not work. This went on for a week or so...then the door senors stopped working....than the motion sensor stopped working...at no time in over a month did I have a fully operational security system. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."

"They installed a Rydeen PSR4000 digital parking sensor system to replace a broken system I had. Ordinarily, this is a simple thing to do without error. However: 1. They installed the LED display in front of my car dash panel preventing me from reading my own car's display near the odometer. How stupid is that. I had to open the dash cover and re-route the display just over the steering column so that it would not visually block other gages on my dash. This is what they should have done. But first, they should have ASKED me where to put it since there are a number of options according to the manufacturer (not just one according to Sam). I asked Sam to fix this but he just kept making excuses and did not honor my appointment when I came back to get it fixed. 2. Upon assembling the front dash cover assembly, they accidently pinched about 4 inches of connector wire bundle between my dash and dash cover which you can easily see when looking at the dash panel display. It took me about a minute to unsnap the dash cover to push through and free up the wire bundle placing it behind the cover where it belonged. The guy assembling everything obviously did not check anything after finishing up the assembly. It is hard to miss something like this but he did. I asked Sam to fix this but he just kept making excuses and did not honor my appointment when I came back to get it fixed. 3. This Rydeen DSR4000 kit comes with a second speaker which they installed on the top left corner of my windshield. The problem is it doesn't function since I only have rear sensors (second speaker is for front sensors if installed). Sam said that was so it would be ready whenever I installed front sensors. Yeah, really. I told him to take it out since it blocks my view out of my windshield and I don't need front sensors. Because Sam balked when I expected him to fix all these problems, I decided to fix them all myself. All I did was to open up the pillar A cover and tie-wrap the speaker inside the pillar cover to hide it. I fixed this with no help from this stereo shop and all it took was 15 minutes. 4. The installer moved my previously installed hands-free Bluetooth mic from the center location just under my rear view mirror to a position on my windshield just in front of my head. How annoying is that !!! ...to look forward and see a microphone all the time. Again, pretty stupid. After taking the pillar A cover off, I noticed the installer pulled the mic and tie wrapped it for some stupid reason. I cut the tie wrap and moved the mic back to its original (and proper) location. Problem solved in 5 minutes...but again without help from this shop. 5. The installer messed up when putting all the rubber door seals back in place. I had to pull and uncrimp some sections he obviously missed because he assembled it in a hurry. He unfortunately prefers speed to quality. 6. Sam forgot to give me the users owner manual for this product and could not find one when I asked for it. Sam could not answer any of my questions regarding the second speaker so I had to go online to read all about it to see if my installation needed it (it didn't). Sam does not seem to know his own inventory. Not only did Sam forget to give me a users manual but when I asked (twice before they did anything) for all the old parts back I only got about 1/2 of them back. Do not trust what Sam promises for he does not keep them. Once he gets your money, don't expect any help after the sale if problems arise. Concluding: If you want shoddy workmanship, then you have come to the right store, Custom Car & Stereo & Tint on Midway Road. Sam will sell you stuff but obviously does not care about any issues after the sale. If you check out Yelp one star reviews, you see the same issues."
