"During coldest week, pipe burst in the back wall of my house. Mr. Palumbo raced to my house, turned off main water supply (from under manhole cover in sidewalk), replaced frozen/burst pipes, tore up damaged floor to allow for drying, met with the insurance adjustor, replaced back wall of vinyl siding, and installed new ceramic tile to kitchen/den floor.  Homeowner's insurance paid for about 1/2 of the damages. Although this was a load bearing wall, they were happy to work with me to make to happen.  It took about two and a half days. When I told them about putting a granite counter on top of the pass through, Patrick mentioned a granite place he worked for, which I ended up using instead of the one I had a quote from.
