They gave me a rough plan of how the system would be installed. <br /> Some things to think about: <br /> The cost of water in Virginia is extremely high, so many of our watering decisions were made with water cost in mind. I have drip hoses through many of my flower beds. At the time I thought drip hoses were hoses that had holes throughout. This is not the case, each plant has a drip extension of its own. So if you are you thinking of cost, then this system will work for you. If you are a gardener like me, you move plants around, add new plants, some plants die out. You have to think that if initially each plant has a drip of its own, when you add a plant you will need to add a drip extension, if a plant dies,, you will need to close off a drip extension, etc. <br /> Also think about squirrels, they tend to make holes in exposed plastic hoses. <br />"

I am going to withhold the grade on quality until they finish the treatments. They seem to be very responsive."

"The project went very well. The stone wall was more of a challenge than we had thought, much of the stone was buried and the terrain for the new fence had to be leveled more than was anticipated. The crew worked very hard to get it right and they did. The crew was very pleasant, professional and very hard working. They arrived when they said they would and finished when they predicted. We are very pleased with the results and have arranged that they come back in the spring to weed and feed the lawn."

"The finished product was OK, but only OK. I lined out where I wanted the perimeter of the tilling to be, and later found  that they had only tilled very shallow. Disappointing - but by that time I was ready to move on. That to my mind was poor quality work - and I think was a result of inadequate supervision. <br /> We had also agreed that they would remove some tree limbs to provide more sunlight. But it turns out they were not really prepared to do that, or didn't want to, so by the time the rest of the work was done it was too late. Cutting limbs at that point required a climber - which they didn't have. <br /> The sidewalk work was OK, it looks good, but I had to call the supervisor to get them out here to remove the steel form. It was getting in my way. They came out to do it at their convenience, not mine. <br /> The supervisor was not well versed  in the garden shrubs and trees which the nursery had. (It is not clear how the landscaping parts of the business mesh with the nursery part) but the super gave me poor information about trees available. She said they did not have certain trees in stock, but it turns out they did. We went out there and looked for ourselves and found what we wanted. The landscape supervisor did not know what rt hey had in the nursery and just should have said so. <br /> <br /> <br />"
