"I have worked with Mike’s Powerhouse Crew for 4 years on various renovations of my Cape Cod cottage. We started with new stairs to the basement, then new stairs to access the second floor, with space created downstairs for a washer/dryer. After that, a conversion of the attic into a loft bedroom, with an office and full bath plus three 5 new windows. The layout is fantastic. And they did a kitchen renovation that required moving a wall over about 5 feet to create a really nice eating nook. Lots of cabinetry was redone around a new stove and microwave, and lots more. Every one of these jobs benefited from the clever way that Mike and his team designed the renovations to make them work really well, when everyone else thought they would be impossible. The attention to detail and the finishing touches were really great, too. "Harold Giancola provided an initial assessment of work needed which was very detailed, noting current variety of conditions of the house's wooden trim, including pictures (sent on i-phone) of sections of the trim boards that needed replacing.  In the proposal, Harold:
(1) Explained the corresponding variations in prep work needed (ie., power wash all, caulking, level of sanding, painting all, and confirmed our preferred choice of paint;
(2) Provided a fixed price quote for the painting materials, prep & painting labor;
(3) Provided hourly billing rate for carpentry labor (very reasonable), plus lumber at additional cost.
Total price of completed job was 2/3 - 1/2 less than other bids received.

"Jill provided two different floor plans for us, and was very flexible, as far as working the option of piano into the room.  She responded to several follow-up questions I had, and provided suggestions for where to locate resources.  Jill was very easy to work with, and very accommodating. However, I found the process of working with a "virtual designer" to be a bit challenging for me.  That was definitely no fault of Jill's, thought.  I would use her again, particularly if I needed help with planning a room layout.

"These guys are the greatest! They saved us a lot of money! We had a dumpster before the bullbag and for 3 tons of material and a week rental of the dumpster it cost us $486! We own the bullbag now, had a full bag - 3.5 tons - picked up and it was only $229! We didn't have any rental charges, excess weight fees, or anything! These guys did everything they said they would! OMG! Everyone should use these guys!!!!! Also, I got the bullbag back! I never have to buy another one and its ready to use whenever I feel like doing a clean out or renovation."
