"Everything went very well. Rus came and gave an in-person estimate, and the price was competitive even though they had to refinish by hand (rather than spray) due to the landscaping around the deck. His team worked very hard when the weather allowed them to, so the job was done in a timely manner. I would recommend them."

"We are very pleased with our new deck roof project. It turned out even better than we even thought it would. Your installation crew of Ricardo and T.J. were awesome to work with, and were very courteous as well as professional. They both were willing to take time and explain the process of the construction, and ask if we had any concerns or questions. Your office staff was courteous and we were able to communicate with them via e-mail and telephone. Thank you for a job well done, we are looking forward to many happy years enjoying our new deck roof."

"Contractor did excellent work. Asked before any needed change was done. Over the several days it took to complete re-decking the surface and replacing the stairs , when finished for the day he removed all of the debris from each day so none was accumulated in the yard."

"We chose VKB mainly on its reviews on this website. Overall the experience was very positive. We were pleased to learn that VBK did not charge a fee upfront to design the kitchen. Calvin (kitchen designer) made excellent suggestions to improve our original vision and was responsive to changes to the design. Calvin convinced us to choose wood floor and crown molding, and the type of range hood, and he was right on all counts! Because of the smooth design process with Calvin and reasonable price, we decided to sign on with VBK over other companies. The implementation phase had some bumps: the design drawings that Jason (project manager) and Ismar (crew leader) started with were not the updated version, but thankfully that was quickly rectified. In addition there were some misunderstanding on the scope of the painting area, but Calvin agreed to honor what we had discussed verbally, even though it was not spelled out in the contract. Jason listened and patiently explained the project process, and kept asking to make sure that we were happy with the progress. For example, he agreed to redo the placement of the undercabinet lights. He also accommodated our desire to donate our old cabinets to Habitat for Humanity, and Ismar and his crew carefully took the down the cabinets and stored them in our garage for pickup later in the week. Ismar, Luis, and the rest of the crew did a fantastic job installing and painting everything, and their experience showed in disguising the fact that our walls were not straight and the floor was not even. We were also impressed with the laser tools that they used to guide cabinet and light placements. The crew was careful, meticulous, and respectful, and they cleaned up throughly every day. There were other crews handling the flooring and countertops, who also did top notch work, and all were coordinated like clockwork by Jason. Along the way, we learned some lessons and offer the following advice: if you are particular about the placement of your celling lights, electrical outlets and switches, let the crew know, and they will do their best to accommodate. Also, pay attention to every single detail in the contract; if not specified, there can be a misunderstanding, and a deviation may require a change order and extra expense. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the excellent quality of the work, and even though there was a delay in the backsplash order, the job finished as projected. We definitely recommend VKB, and we love our new kitchen. Jason -- we are happy!"

"We cannot even begin to explain what a wonderful experience we had with Paradise Home Improvement. We interviewed five contractors - some bids were higher, some lower, but we got a fabulous feeling about this family run operation. From the appointments which they were always on time for, to the final product of our new kitchen and office, they were incredible. The construction professionals working in my home were respectful and always cleaned up at the end of the day...on time, on budget and communicating along way any changes or challenges! I would recommend Paradise Home Improvement to anyone who wants a quality product! Thank you for our beautiful kitchen."

"I initially hired Camilla and her team to replace my deck and fix some rotting wood siding on the back of my home. As luck would have it, 2 days after I hired them, I had a pipe burst inside my dining room wall. Camilla came out that same evening and was there until almost 9:00 pm to get the situation under control. Over the next week and a half, her team fit me into their schedule (often working evenings), to get the problem resolved and fix the damage. I was really impressed (and relieved) by their quick response and thoroughness. They even fixed up some old, unrelated drywall damage that I had just never got around to repairing. And I am also very happy with the job I actually hired them for – my deck and siding. Solid construction and good attention to detail. Camilla was very responsive, answered all my questions without talking over my head, and always explained her reasoning – there were no surprises. Her team was always on time, and actually finished ahead of schedule. Pricing is not the lowest you will find out there, but it is VERY reasonable for the dedication and quality of work you will receive. Dreamville will be on my speed dial for any future problems or projects I have!"

"It was great, we love our extra addition room Thanks to NV Design and Build"

"Had my old wooden deck replaced with PVC decking in May 2017. These guys did an outstanding job!"

"Mr. Dwayne Uyeunten, the owner, came to my home to discuss my project. He gave me approximately 15 to 20 minutes of his time then he left. I felt as if he came to take measurements and go. There was minimal conversation about the job . There was no customer satisfaction during his visit, so I had no desire to hire his company. I need someone who can give good suggestions and ideas not the other way around. In comparison to the other contractors, his visit was the least inspirational."
