"The biggest obstacle was scheduling.  The Angie's List confirmation email did not include the instruction to schedule on the Flow-Rite web site.  It took 3 or 4 emails to clarify that which delayed getting the work scheduled. 
The replacement parts worked fine with the exception of some excess plastic on the valve which prevented a tight seal and thus lead to a running toilet.  It took a few minutes with the razor blade to cut the excess off and allowed the seal to form properly.  This probably should have been done by the installer.

We called Mr Andrews after we discovered that gate was damaged. Mr Andrews told me that his employees were independent contractors and were responsible for any damages that occur. Mr Andrews asked me to send him pictures and a description of the damage. He said he would have his independent contractor contact me to resolve the issue. To date we have not heard from his independent contractor or Mr Andrews to resolve the issue The company does a good pumping your septic tank but doesn't take care of any damages that they cause. Joe Lay Plumbers sent someone out to look at the problem and provide an estimate. They correctly diagnosed the problem and gave me a very reasonable estimate. The repair required digging four feet of fill on the outside my house’s foundation and replacing a section of leaking pipe. The problem was caused by a poor original installation. We agreed on a date for the repair and Joe Lay had two plumbers perform the work. They arrived on time and completed the job quickly and competently. I was satisfied with the work, the plumbers and the price. I will use them for any future plumbing needs."
