"Mr. Mendez and his crew did an excellent job with our skylights installation and painting our shutters and also painting our kitchen and family room. UPDATED AS OF 02/27/2022: Mr. Mendez also replaced our stair railing. He built everything from scratch. He also replaced some light fixtures. He does so much more besides painting. "Home Valet Pros were responsive and professional, from the scheduler, to the estimator, and the workers. The workers were skilled. The primary challenges we had were around communication. (1)The scheduler booked me for two half days, but the workers arrived planning to be onsite for one full day. After a little back and forth with works and the supervisor, the workers agreed to leave and return as originally scheduled. It affected my own work schedule some. (2)Estimator came out and reviewed my request for 4 tasks (drywall, painting, door, shutters); he even took photos of each area of requested. I didn?t notice that the door didn?t make the contract, although the price was the same. Workers who came out, said they could not work on the door. (3) There was drywall dust left throughout the work area I guess because I didn?t explicitly ask for cleanup. I didn?t think to take photos until I was most of the way through my own cleanup."

"They called me on the same day I placed the request on Angies List and set up an appointment to repair the drywall the very next morning. I included a detailed description of the scope of work, this was all confirmed again over the phone. I needed someone to patch up a hole that was roughly 14-18" in diameter. I let them know I had some of the materials - plaster, tape, board - but they used their own. They gave me the option of also sanding and painting which would have extended the scope of work for additional hours (allowing for drywall to dry before painting the ceiling) . I opted out of that to save a little bit of money since I have other renovation costs, but I am glad they gave me that option. Handyman arrived on time, moved and covered the furniture, and taped a barrier around the work space. He told me he would be finished around 11-11:30am, which was accurate. Overall, very easy to work with, reasonable. I plan to hire them again for a few other similar repairs."
